Overall this is an entertaining second chance at love story, but I didn't know when I started reading this is actually part of a series so some of the instances mentioned in this particular book left me a bit confused since I hadn't read the first book. Luckily I was able to piece enough together to be able to get a better understanding on some of the backstory. I absolutely loved all the efforts Jack put in with his campaign to win Jessica's heart again, and Jessica's reactions to being in close proximity to Jack after 6 years apart. The banter they share back and forth is sometimes hilarious, snarky, sweet, romantic and emotional. The physical chemistry between them is all kinds of sexy hot.
