duchess is so close to signing a deal that will make her one of the richest women in hip hop, but a misunderstanding tarnishes her image and unfairly messes with this deal. when she gets an offer to perform at a tribute concert for the queen’s late husband, she decides to take it, figuring she’ll get good publicity out of it. what she’s not expecting, though, is to fall for the queen’s grandson, who invited her to the concert…

first i just want to say that dual pov romances will always be famous😌 i loved that we got to see both jameson’s and dani’s viewpoints and get inside each of their minds.

the start of this blurb does say it’s inspired by harry and meghan, which honestly i didn’t realize until i started writing this review. i really don’t know much at all about the royal family, so i can’t attest to how closely this story followed theirs. however, i really do like reading about royals in general, so i enjoyed this aspect of the book.
