Oh wow, it has been a hot minute since I last read a novel by SK and how have I missed her. I do admit I had a few false start with this book as I have difficulty in following the storyline. However the moment I got into it, I was in for a ride. This book is entertaining and deep in its lore, as usual SK is a Mistress at World Building. I love a tortured Hero and Valteri is one truly full of angst. The book did fall off a bit in the middle but it picked up speed towards the end. Welcome back SK, I look forward to the next book.
Thanks NetGalley for the copy, this is my unbiased review.
