This was insanely good. Definitely dark as hell, but I loved it. There are so many things I want to talk about, but y’all if you go in blind it’s SO enjoyable.

Royce is everything I wanted him to be. He has such a dark side to him, but when he showed how loving he could be I melted. He had the perfect balance between the two. It felt like the only thing he wanted to do was protect Jade and he definitely did his best, but she’s strong as hell and could truly hold her own.

Jade is actually the love of my life. I loved her personality and just her in general. She’s loving, kind hearted, has a dark side, and is just so selfless. She goes through hell, but it able to take the best road out. Her and Royce gave off soulmate vibes and the two of them together are unstoppable.

The found family trope was also perfection, ugh I just can’t explain how much I truly enjoyed reading this book!!
