The Illuminatus! Trilogy

Never go full Boomer. This is especially important if you’re a Boomer, and especially important to avoid in 2023 and the foreseeable future. In an era before all of the Internet was attention-whoring and people did something else than think of polemical things to post for the machine—this book would have been amazing. In the current year, as you’ll know if you’ve listened to Alex Jones for more than 10 minutes, talking book is just going to get you lumped in to his… lump. His lumpy algorithm bubble, at least.
Will give this two stars, because if you think of it as being a time-capsule to an era when there was something like counter-culture existed (as opposed to most things on the Internet trying to float or signal a “counter-culture” trend, desperately hoping it will stick) it’s inaccessible, but brilliant.
In conclusion, in 2023 everyone is the enemy—especially your friends.
