"Inevitable" de J.L. Beck, segundo y último libro pertenece a la duología “A Kingpin Love Affair”. Este es un libro de mafia dark romance. Como trigger warnings contiene violencia gráfica, así como situaciones sexuales.

Alzerro se encuentra sin Bree, y tras los acontecimientos transcurridos y la historia que Mack le a contado tendrá que tomar una decisión importante. Bree consigue escapar gracias a Devon Mitchell, pero cuando va en busca de su padre se encuentra con Zerro.

Este es el desenlace de la historia de Zerro y Bree, donde ambos pasan momentos escabrosos y angustiosos. Principalmente Bree es la heroína de esta historia. Su pesadilla se hace realidad, todo lo que ella ha vivido ha sido falso y hacer frente a eso ha sido lo más duro que ha tenido que pasar. Da igual ser secuestrada y alejada de Zerro, ella es la persona más fuerte de está historia sin lugar a dudas.

El final fue inesperado totalmente. Ya no solo por lo que Bree tiene que hacer, sino también por los eventos que hace que la vida de Zerro tome un rumbo de 180° y cambie su vida de mafioso. Todo podía haber acabado de manera totalmente distinta y un poco dolorosa para Bree, y la autora supo cerrar la historia de manera perfecta.

Lo que más me gusto fue conocer al final del libro que el personaje Devon Mitchell tiene también su propio libro y poder leer una nueva historia centrada en él, y un poco también siguiendo la estela de esta serie.

"Inevitable" by J.L. Beck, the second and final book, belongs to the "A Kingpin Love Affair" duology. This is a mafia dark romance book. As trigger warnings, it contains graphic violence as well as sexual situations.

Alzerro finds himself without Bree, and after the events that have happened and the story that Mack has told him, he will have to make an important decision. Bree manages to escape thanks to Devon Mitchell, but when she goes in search of her father, she meets Zerro.

The conclusion of Zerro and Bree's story, where they both have some difficult and distressing moments. Mainly Bree is the heroine of this story. Her nightmare comes true. Everything she has lived through has been false, and facing that has been the hardest thing she has had to go through. No matter being kidnapped and taken away from Zerro, she is the strongest person in this story, without a doubt.

The ending was totally unexpected not only because of what Bree has to do but also because of the events that make Zerro's life take a 180° turn and change his life as a mafia boss. Everything could have ended in a totally different and a bit painful way for Bree, and the author knew how to close the story perfectly.

What I liked the most was learning at the end of the book that the character Devon Mitchell also has his own book and to be able to read a new story centered on him, and a bit also following the trail of this series.
