My Thoughts
I really enjoy getting to read anything by Lauren Carr. The Prime Suspect is a kick off to a new series about Sam MacKade, a private investigator. Sam is hired by Bryce Greyson. Who has been made a suspect in the murders of her husband and her ex roommate. The police do not seem to care that she may be innocent - just in finding evidence to close the case.

Sam MacKade is a former police officer. He had to retire when he was injured in the line of duty. It does not take long to find out that someone seems to be trying to sway the police and the media to find Bryce guilty.
The author has written a brilliant "who dun it" book. The book has twists and turns. I can't forget to mention MacKade's dogs and Bryce's cat - they definitely will leave an impression. I cannot wait to read the next mystery.
