Adams parents are coming for Christmas and Holly is nervous about meeting them. Holly isnt sure where their relationship will go, they are just taking it slow and enjoying each other. Adams parents decide to surprise Adam and come two weeks early. Things get off on a rocky start when Adams mom makes it clear she doesnt want her shifter son dating a witch. Adam stands up to his parents and tells them Holly is his girlfriend and they will accept that or leave. Along with dealing with that stress, Holly is trying to solve a murder that she is positive involved a vampire, and she doesnt want her human PI friend Nick to know about the supernatural world and have vampires after him.
Hopefully things will be straightened out before Christmas.
This was a nice little cozy story that I enjoyed. Moving onto book 4 to see how Holly and Adam fare after the Christmas with his parents. Will their relationship last?
