Truth be told, I started Dune to help me fall asleep at night. At times, it successfully did just that cuz, I mean, some of these characters *reallllyyy* like to monologue. Like that chapter where Thufir Hawat interrogates Lady Jessica? Holy hell, talk about a snooze fest! BUT! But most of the time it had the reverse effect and I was super invested and found the audiobook really engaging. Love how Princess Irulan breaks apart the chapters with quotes from her written works. Immediately downloaded Dune Messiah after finishing.
