I really enjoyed this book. I feel like the label of "young adult" deters people from reading these types of books, which is a shame. The characters are well devoloped, and the author gave a full picture of their growth throughout the book. The authors version of vampires was a fresh take on the subject with the role of guardians and "bad vampires". I will definatly be reading the rest of the series as this book showed just the beginning of a romantic interest between the main characters. Good book!
