We finally get to really dig into the world of Brandon and Andrew, two best friends who'd known each other for most of their lives.

I have a thing for best friends to lovers. Not everyone enjoys them, but I do, especially when you mix in mutual pining. That always gets my blood going... in a good way. I love it when they can't tell they're both in love, but the rest of world sees it as clear as day. Years, they have pinned, fearing of breaking their close friendship.

But after several failed relationships on Brandon's side, these two idiots in love finally figure it out, thanks to Andrew finally taking the leap and being bold. Despite their fears of ruining their friendship, they dive in head-first into each other without really digging in with communication. I totally get it. Maybe if we dig too deeply, we might see things that could ruin a good thing.

Unfortunately, sometimes the things we want to prevent end up being self-fulfilling prophecies. You'll have to keep reading to find out what happens when it all comes to a head!

This another wonderful typical Joelle book, full of lightness and STEAM, but now we are introduced to a bit of angst.
