This author has a great way with words. The scenes of sailing on a caique in the Aegean are nothing short of amazing. They are sooo incredibly close to the real thing! She either has those sort of experiences or she has made some extremely thorough research. It's very refreshing to finally see a writer do homage to the real habits of the greek islanders. Aside from that I was vastly entertained by the plot and characters both in this book and the first in the series. Anyone who enjoys adventure should read them. I'm definitely buying the next two as soon as they become available

Οχι δεν ειναι απαραιτητο να χεις διαβασει το πρωτο.Παντως εμενα μ αρεσε και το πρωτο! Αμα σ αρεσει ο Ιντιανα Τζοουνς θα τα λατρεψεις τα βιβλιαρακια αυτα. σου δημιουργουν μια τετοια αισθηση. σ αυτο μου εκανε αληθινα εντυπωση η περιγραφη του ταξιδιου με το καικι, λες και ημουν στο τρεχαντηρακι του θειου μου απανω ηταν. Λεει για τα κουλουρακια της μανας του καπετανιου και το γλυκο κυδωνι και τον καφε που ψηνεται στο μπρικι και γενικα αν εξαιρεσεις καποιες ποιητικες αδειες που εχουν να κανουν με την εξελιξη του μυθου που ειναι φαντασιας εχει πασει πολυ καλα την ατμοσφαιρα ενος ταξιδιου στο Αιγαιο. εγω το καταφχαριστηθηκα παντως
