This was such a heartwarming book about a woman who died (before the book even began) but her spirit stayed on Fire Island for one more summer so she can watch and kind of help her husband and her friends in the community grieve their loss. I really enjoyed it. It was sweet with found family and hope for the future, but it was also quite heartbreaking and sad. I really enjoy that balance in my stories, and it was very well done here.
