(Book takes place on a ship along the 'middle passage' from the US to Africa. One of my countries was Namibia which is one of the places the ship lands.)

15.3 Yellow Dietland by Sarai Walker (This book made me think in a negative way. The book is supposed to be fiction with social commentary, but for a book that is so praised it falls flat in a lot of places. I wanted to like this book for what it was trying to do but just couldn't because of how poorly it did it.)
