“Amy has been my direct manager for the last 4.5 years as an Individual Contributor and as a Manager. Amy and I launched the Mid Market team for the Australian Marketing Solutions business as her being the first manager and with myself as first AD in market. Amy was able to come into a business that had no structure, very little support from global counterparts, and set the stage for a business that now delivers over $15M in revenue a year. She was able to handle adversity, lack of clarity in direction, and in fact thrived in that environment while others would find it very challenging. The growth we experienced in 4 years could have only been possible with Amy at the helm of this business. She was able to not only set up a strategic vision for the business, she hired amazing top tier talent that have grown tremendously under her leadership, and the Marketing Solutions business as a whole have benefited from her mentorship. Amy is an extremely strategic thinker, and can clearly see a vision for her business that can spend 1-2 years vs. just tactical decisions. She is extremely considered with her feedback and coaching, and helps facilitate opportunities for her team to learn. Personally, Amy coached me on the transition from Individual Contributor to Team Lead to Management, which has been a pivotal transformation in my career. Her guidance helped me through from being a high performing rep to a compassionate, considered, and strategic manager that will ultimately set the foundation for my career as I continue to grow as a leader. Amy always treated me as a partner, where I was brought in early for strategic input in planning and she encouraged me to think differently and push my own boundaries constantly. Whilst supporting my growth with an environment to take risks and make mistakes, Amy in fact accelerated my professional development ten fold by allowing me to flex in many different directions as a leader and giving me the accountability to make big decisions.
