About

Paul studied Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Toronto. He was inspired by his high-school experiences with the FIRST Robotics Competition. In 2004 he decided to start the University of Toronto Robotics Association (UTRA). The team found success early-on, taking home two bronze medals and two gold medals at RoboGames in San Francisco. His passion lead him to work on several other robotics and technology products, as well as working behind the scenes on educational TV shows like Zerby Derby and Science Max. In 2008 he partnered to incorporate Logics Academy which currently delivers robotics and coding education to elementary schools across Canada. Paul sold his holdings in Logics Academy in 2019, and transitioned into more passive income streams. Paul currently holds three patents for his inventions, and still enjoys doing consulting and engineering design work part-time. Paul also volunteers his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBS), the Corvette Club of Ontario (CCO), and the Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP). He also invests in real estate projects through Ornella Homes, and is working on obtaining his pilot's license.

“A little bit of Slovenia on this side of the ocean” would best describe the camp (or the ‘Farma’ as it is commonly known).

The camp was started in 1958 by the early immigrants from Slovenia. Since everybody was new to Canada, it was planned that this would be a great retreat area to congregate on weekends.

These grounds in southern Ontario provide people of Slovenian heritage a place where they can gather to socialize, worship, play and enjoy each other’s company. The events nurture Slovenian culture and faith for all generations from the very young to the very old.

Throughout the 50+ years since its inception, volunteers have continued to put in strong efforts to ensure the grounds are maintained, events are organized, and food is prepared.

Daily visitors are welcome and admission is very reasonable. Although the camp is less than an hour’s drive from Toronto, members and guests “camp” in tents, trailers or cottages throughout the spring, summer and fall. Access for winter activities is available to members.

Participation in sporting events is of particular interest to youth. There’s something happening throughout the summer. The calendar outlines sporting and other events that would be of interest to all. Besides organized sporting activities, there's also swimming, volleyball, balina (bocce), a children's playground, and hiking trails

The two stages are hydraulically linked to each other through the alternate introduction of hydraulic fluid selectively through an extension pressure fluid port and a retraction pressure fluid port a limited motion of the outer stage is obtained in a power stroke. Hydraulic power means of this kind is of particular value in powered apparatus for digging and transplanting trees, where minimization of the overall height of the apparatus is desirable.
