::I struggle to see how puff pieces written in newspapers constitute reliable sources either. I'm sure there were plenty of silly news articles with no merit about the MMR vaccine 10 years ago. Besides anybody with a reasonable knowledge of PR knows exactly how to find a freelance (or staffer) journalist to write a one-side story on a specific issue for a specific paper. The blog isn't there to be a 'direct' reference but show that there is a debate about the merits of Waldoff and the matter isn't settled! Also think the Prof Colquhoun adds rather a lot to the debate given his scientific background (and therefore ability to spot bogus science) and also having work in education (albeit tertiary)

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:18, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources

I appreciate your desire to add balance, but please review Wikipedia's policies on Reliable sources. Blogs are extremely doubtful in the best of circumstances; blogs by pharmacologists definitely do not qualify as reliable sources for articles on education. hgilbert (talk) 10:44, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
