I get it that you are going to delete this. Wikipedia is a profoundly collaborative place. That is core to everything that happens here. You are probably going to get blocked or banned if you refuse to discuss contentious things with people on Talk pages of articles - that is where discussions about content belong -- in public, where they become part of the history of the article. I guess if you want to keep going as you are:
* if you make changes and are reverted, you should not re-revert or change things back. You will just have to give up and walk away. As per WP:BRD, differences of opinion over changes to actively edited articles, is a situation that demands discussion.
* you could limit yourself to making trivial changes that nobody would find contentious (and that would therefore require discussion)

As they say "if you want to play this game, those are the rules". It would be a shame to lose you as you seem to have subject matter expertise.

Wikipedia allows you to choose any username you want and there are very serious rules here about WP:OUTING. It is hard to find a basis for a reasonable privacy concern that would prevent you from discussing things on Talk pages.

Feel free to email me if you want to discuss. Jytdog (talk) 15:26, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

I get it that you are going to delete this. Wikipedia is a profoundly collaborative place. That is core to everything that happens here. I guess if you want to keep going as you are:
