Helena Kristina Bergström[needs IPA] (born 5 February 1964[1]) is a Swedish actress and Film director. From an acting family,[not verified in body] she began her career in 1982.[1]

Early and personal life

Bergström was born in Kortedala, Gothenburg,[1] the daughter of Hans Bergström (a director) and Kerstin Widgren (an actress). Her grandfather Olof Widgren was also an actor.[citation needed]

She is married to Colin Nutley, with whom she has two children, Molly and Timothy.[2] They originally met filming Blackjack. At the time Nutley was 20 years older than her and already married.[2] Her husband has directed Bergström in films involving sex scenes; she said he found this to be uncomfortable.[3]

At the 29th Guldbagge Awards she won the award for Best Actress for the films Sista dansen[4] and The Ferris Wheel.[5]
