Nora Fatehi (born 6 February 1992 [2][3]) is a Morrocan-Canadian dancer, model and actress.[4] She made her film debut in the Bollywood film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans.[5]. She gained popularity in Telugu cinema by doing item numbers in films like Temper, Baahubali and Kick 2. She has also starred in a Malayalam film Double Barrel. She was a contestant on Bigg Boss 9 and got evicted on day 84. Her next movie is Satyamev Jayate slated to be released on August 15, in which she will be seen in the re-created version of the song "Dilbar" which had crossed 20 million views in its first 24 hours of release, making it the first Hindi song to have garnered such numbers in India.[6]
Career
She started her career by starring in a Bollywood film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans.After that she was signed for a special song in Puri Jagannath's Telugu starrer Temper. She has also done a special appearance with Emraan Hashmi and Gurmeet Chaudhary in the film Mr. X directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt.
She signed Puri Jagannadh's Temper in early December 2014, marking her debut in Telugu.[7] Later, she signed movies such as Baahubali: The Beginning[8] and Kick 2.[9][10]
In late June 2015, she signed a Telugu film Sher.[11] In late August 2015, she signed a Telugu film Loafer which is directed by Puri Jagannadh starring opposite Varun Tej.[12] In late November 2015 she signed a film Oopiri.[13] In December 2015, Fatehi entered the Bigg Boss house which was in its ninth season as a wild card entrant.[14] She spent 3 weeks inside the house until she got evicted in the 12th week (Day 83). Nora was a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2016. Her upcoming Project is a movie titled My Birthday Song[15] in which she is playing lead actress opposite Sanjay Suri.[16]
Fatehi speaks English as her first language, though she can also speak Hindi, French and Arabic.
