Therese and Isabelle (also known as Thérèse and Isabelle and Thérèse et Isabelle) is a 1968 French-American romantic erotic drama film directed by Radley Metzger,[1][2][3] and based on the novel Thérèse et Isabelle by Violette Leduc.[4]

Plot

Two young girls grow up together and share affectionate intimacies in a European boarding school for girls.

Reviews of his film adaptation of Thérèse et Isabelle have been generally favorable,[5][6][7][8][9][10][11] although not with all reviewers.[12][13]
