Celebrating a Successful Heavy Lift Project in Algeria! 🏗️ With the collaboration of our parent company CMA CGM, we are proud to announce the conclusion of another successful heavy lift delivery for a major oil & gas company. This project involved transporting two impressive mercury removal vessels from Italy to Algeria. Arriving in Skikda Old Port, the two engines were directly offloaded onto a truck to continue their route over 2,000 km in the far south of Algeria, in the oil and gas industry. For 25 days, the two engines, weighing over 100 tons, traveled from northeast to southwest of Algeria and arrived at their destination successfully. This complex project was seamlessly executed thanks to the dedication and professionalism of our teams. Their commitment ensured smooth operations and timely delivery. 🎤 Mauricio Goncalves, our Senior Logistics Manager responsible for disassembly for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Sébastien Giovanazzi, Warehouse Manager at CEVA for the Paris 2024 Committee, explain the importance of the dismantling phase. Our final mission takes place as soon as the competitions end at each Olympic and/or Paralympic site of Paris 2024. It consists of three phases: transport and warehouse planning, securing resources, and finally, the execution phase. It is an incredible logistical challenge that requires precise timing and perfect team coordination.
