In a nutshell....predictable, but entertaining.
We get a lot of more of the Gallos and their family dynamic in this book....and I gotta say, they made the book.
The Tammy drama was way over the top, but I found it more comical than annoying.
Michael was a great combination of sweet and sexy (even if the scales did teeter over to cheesy sometimes), and for the most part Mia was likable. She did come across as a little too uptight at times and, unfortunately, she did suffer from a moment of DHS (Dumbass Heroine Syndrome). Nothing irks me more than a heroine who gets angry and runs away instead finding out the truth and talking things out. Thankfully, it was a mild case of DHS as it didn't stick around for long.
Overall, a quick and enjoyable read.
***I have to note, there are a slew of grammar and editing issues here. Enough to be distracting at times.

3.75 "fighter and Doc" stars
well, this one was a bit better than the book 1 in the series...
the story of Michael "the Iceman" Gallo and his lady Doc, Mia Greco is on a lighter side concerning the romance part, it's classic - "a guy meets a woman that he's tremendeously attracted to and he goes for it, but she's a bit reluctant, since she's against violence in general, therefore she doesn't give in to him that easily" - formula...
BUT then enters the angsty part in the form of a batshit crazy psycho of Michael's ex-fuck buddy Tammy that tries to destroy his relationship by making shit up and other exaggerated coo coo nonsence she pulls...
now Michael needs to deal with that shit and set the records straight with Mia and convince her that she's the only one, before the shit really hits the fan...
and that actually sums up the essence of this book, but I really have to give credit to the dialogues, they were funny, Michael and Mia had a off-the-charts chemistry and their bickering and banter were both entertaining and steamy.

I was almost late to work this morning because I really wanted to finish what I started reading last night. Michael and Mia were just as hot together as the previous couple. Lots of visits from all of his family throughout the book, plus there's a psycho ex to deal with. Again the ending just felt incomplete like there should have been another chapter or two.

Michael Gallo is an up and coming MMA fighter and the piercer at his family's tattoo business that he runs with his brothers and sister. After he is injured during one of his matches, he is treated at the local hospital by Dr. Mia Greco. From her first touch, Michael feels "something" and asks her out to dinner. Dr. Greco is busy and just doesn't have time to date. It isn't until a few months later they run into each other at a club, and the sparks fly. Mia cannot deny there is more to Michael than big muscles, he is also smart and funny, and she wants to try. Throw in a vivacious family, and a crazy ass ex, and Mia's life just got a little more interesting.
Even though the story is very predictable, I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next installment, which is Izzy's story.

I wanted to say "great story" and praise the story for what it could truly be, a fun and enjoyable read, if only I wasn't constantly distracted by misspelled, missing and misplaced words.
The story line is great. I had fun getting to know Mia and "Mikey". I also thought that the fact that the batshit crazy lady (what a wacko) was named Tammy was hilarious since I am intimately familiar with that name.
From M&M's initial meeting in the ER, to their run in at the bar and the natural progression of their relationship throughout the book, I was having a great time. Izzy is a scream, what a mouth she has on her. I love the relationship the whole Gallo family shares.
I hate writing reviews that you can read on the back cover of the book. So I will just say that this book is an awesome read if you don't mind the many editorial errors. Which when they are as frequent as they are in this book, tend to bug me.

The second book in the series is Michael and Mia, an MMA fighter and a doctor. They are definitely opposites but opposites attract. They have an intense connection right from the beginning and they couldn't deny it no matter how much they wanted to! Then enter crazy Tammy that messes everything up but I was happy Mia and was able to believe Michael and work things out. Their chemistry was hot

I'm hooked!
I'm addicted to this series and I only met Ma, Pop and two brothers! I want them all, I them again, I want everything!
This book is about Michael, the loving fighter, and Mia, the strong doctor.
As I said, Michaels is a fighter. When he is not administrating Inked (the tattoo and piercing show he and his borthers and sister own), he is getting ready to take a man down using his fists (and sometimes his feet and legs...you know what I mean).
But surprinsingly, if he is not fighting, he is caring. He has a body made of iron and a heart made of gold, and being around him is precious.
"Michael Gallo did not fit the mold of fighter bad boy. He was a romantic and made me feel like the only person that mattered in the world"
Michael can find his high on a ring being, as Mia says, barbaric, but the man has some really good moves, inside the ring and out of it. He is sweet, funny, caring...he just needs to pick some companions better (and I'm not talking about MIa, obviously).
And Mia is so amazing. She is hard worker, she is a teaser and she gives as much as she takes with Michael. She is worthy! And Michael is quick to realize that.

They were so great as a couple, they matched and, as we could totally ship for City/Joey and Susy, we super root for Mia and Michael.

Hook Me by Chelle Bliss
Part of a standalone series. Best when read in order, but you don't have to.

Hook Me by Chelle Bliss hooked me! I loved the choice of narrators, they were perfect for Michael and Mia. I am really enjoying the Gallo family. My (ex)husband’s family is Italian, and Chelle definitely knows Italian American families!
Michael meets Mia, an ER doctor after an MMA fight brings him to the E.R. He is a total flirt, almost to the point of cheesy, but it was kind of endearing. Mia is totally against fighting, and piercing, Michael’s other profession…yet the attraction was undeniable.
A few weeks later the run into each other at the gym, and sparks fly again. Mia is too busy. Between being a doctor and volunteering at a local clinic, she doesn’t have a free minute for a relationship. But when Michael goes after her, he really goes for it! Mia is a tough nut. She has 4 brothers and has done a Doctors Without Borders type of thing. She resists every step of the way. She’s practical, he’s an adrenaline junky. He’s a fighter, she’s a healer.
Together they are HOT! And really dirty…dirty talking, against the wall fucking. Yum.
There was a lot of drama, both in the ring, in the relationship, and in the Gallo family. So it was really a packed book with no story lulls.
Likes:
•Great, realistic-to-the-story narrators.
•Visits with the rest of the Gallos.
•Hot and dirty sex.
•Filled with lots of story.
•Opposites attract.
Dislikes:
•Mia came off a little snobby and judgmental sometimes.
•Michael had a few lines that were so sexist they turned me off.

The Down and Dirty:
I am loving the Men of Inked series by Chelle Bliss. It’s exactly the kind of book I like (hence my tagline “Alpha Males in Sexy Tales”). An MMA fighter and a Doctor are a very interesting, opposites attract type of couple, but in the end, they really worked together. I love visiting with The Gallos, and can’t wait to hear more! The narrators were great and I look forward to more books with them.

Der Schreibstil ist angenehm flüssig und wird im Wechsel aus der Perspektive von Mia und Michael erzählt. Der Leser kann sie so beide näher kennen lernen und ihre Gedanken und Gefühle erfahren während der Handlung. Die Nebenfiguren aus Michaels Familie ist ebenso authentisch und gestalten die Geschichte mit. Die Kulisse ist ähnlich wie die aus dem ersten Buch, aber man entdeckt noch andere Dinge.
Die Spannung hat mich mit jeder Seite mehr in die Geschichte von Michael und Mia gezogen. Sie ist eine Ärztin in der Notaufnahme und lernt ihn zuerst, als Patient kennen. Beim 2 aufeinandertreffen spürt man deutlich, dass es eine gewisse Spannung gibt. Nach Mias ersten Zögern lässt sie sich doch auf Dates ein und ist dennoch etwas skeptisch was seine Lebensweise angeht wegen den Mixed-Martial-Arts Kämpfen, bei denen er mit den Fäusten kämpft. Wird das Schicksal ihr einen Weg zeigen für eine gemeinsame Zukunft?
Mit jeder Seite, die mehr verfolgen ist, habe ich mich selbst, als Leser in Michael verliebt und auch, wenn er in der Vergangenheit Fehler gemacht hat in Bezug auf eine etwas komplizierte Frau, spürt man das Mia ihm alles bedeutet ....
Das Ende war mehr als nur aufregend und ich freue mich schon erneut in einen weiteren Band der Autorin hineinzulesen.
Das Cover sieht einfach toll aus und ich habe mich bisher in jedes aus dieser Reihe verliebt.

Es una historia entretenida sin grandes pretensiones. Personajes duros, a veces desorientados en su papel. Una trama sencilla, plana y sin complicaciones.

I liked this way more than the first book. The change of narrator was a huge help for that and I liked Michael and Mia more as characters. Michael is kind of funny and I liked how sweet he was with Mia. He treated her right, made big romantic gestures, and the situation with Tammy was crazy but a little funny. Mia is super smart and loves helping people. She did overreact at one point, but it was understandable and got worked out. This definitely makes me want to read the next books!

2 disapointed and pissed-off star
Gaaaah I'm so pissed right now!! I don 't understand how the first book
was so good and this one totally sucks!
First the story is predictable from A to Z! No surprise! Second the heroine is a non-sense. She keep annoying me more and more.
The first 40% were really slow, no real action.
And then finally something happens between Michael and Mia but no real sparks or connection for me. The sex was ok but nothing like in the first! I should blame City and his dirty mouth maybe LOL
From 64 % I kept rolling my eyes over and over again. I was wondering if I was in kindergarden And the ending OMG once more... Too childish!

Hook Me is the second book in Chelle Bliss’ Men of Inked series and for me it was so much better than book one. I instantly loved how Michael was. He is the piercer for the tattoo shop as well as a professional MMA fighter. He is cocky and confident but he isn’t an asshole like so many men can be. Is he perfect? No but what he is, is real. I loved how he was not just with Mia but his entire family. What really won me over was how he took the time to show his romantic side. He wanted to earn Mia’s time and the way he did it melted my heart.
Mia is not a push over, she is feisty and strong. She is hilarious with her needle comments. Her dedication to her career is commendable but makes it hard for her to have a relationship. It sadly also affects her because she feels each loss and they haunt her. At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Mia. She had that fighting is so barbaric and I am a doctor so I have to hate it on principle attitude. But she quickly proved me wrong and I am so glad that she did, because she is the perfect balance for Michael.
When their relationship is tested by a crazy ass bitch, and I literally mean a crazy ass bitch, I was disappointed in how Mia handled it. But, I could also see why she reacted the way she did. The way she handled it at the end though, that’s all that matters and she made me proud.
I am really beginning to love this series. I will admit after the first book, which I liked but didn’t overly love, I was skeptical about this one. Luckily Ms. Bliss has proved me wrong and made me want the next book right now. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the remaining brothers and the ever so smart assed sister Izzy.

If you don’t like OW drama this is not the book for you. I don’t mind it myself, but I will say this other woman “BE CRAZY”!!!
I liked the storyline a lot and Michael is a great character very typical Chelle Bliss as far as an alpha male but with a sweet side as well. I will say that he should have been way more forceful in his shutting down of the crazy Tammy.
Mia was okay but maybe I would have appreciated her staying to talk out the problems a little more. Seems like she was smart enough to see the loonyness (new made-up word) in Tammy ahead of time but when push came to shove she turned and left.
I will say that all the drama came to a head but then it felt unfinished. I don’t know how to really explain it other than maybe “incomplete” is the best word.
I liked the storyline a lot and Michael is a great character very typical Chelle Bliss as far as an alpha male but with a sweet side as well. I will say that he should have been way more forceful in his shutting down of the crazy Tammy.
Mia was okay but maybe I would have appreciated her staying to talk out the problems a little more. Seems like she was smart enough to see the loonyness (new made-up word) in Tammy ahead of time but when push came to shove she turned and left.
I will say that all the drama came to a head but then it felt unfinished. I don’t know how to really explain it other than maybe “incomplete” is the best word.

I love Michael and Mia! This may be my favorite one yet! After City, and now Michael, my curiosity in piercings is piqued! I love it when books kick my inner Google monster into overdrive! I'm learning new things all the time!

Nachdem ich schon den ersten Bruder kennenlernen durfte und mich seine Geschichte sehr gefangen genommen hatte, habe ich mich unheimlich auf den zweiten Bruder gefreut.
Der Plot war nicht weniger interessant und heiß, dennoch hatte ich das Gefühl, nicht die starke Verbindung zu den Protas zu finden wie im ersten Teil. Mir kam es vor als ob sie nicht alles von sich zeigen würden und sich eher zurück nahmen, was ihre emotionale Ebene angeht. Daher empfand ich als Leser diese Geschichte mehr als Zuschauer und war nicht ganz so stark involviert wie im ersten Teil. Was aber nicht bedeutet, dass mir die Geschichte nicht gefallen hat, aber mir fehlte einfach ein wenig die Verbindung zu den beiden. Außerdem hätte ich unheimlich gern mehr von den Kämpfen gelesen, die der Iceman absolviert, mehr Actionszenen sozusagen und mehr Nervenkitzel.
Die Liebesgeschichte selbst empfand ich als sehr angenehm, intensiv und sie vermittelte mir ein herzliches und warmes Gefühl beim Lesen. Denn Iceman ist gar nicht der Macho, den er nach außen hin zeigt, sondern ein umsorgender, liebevoller und zuverlässiger Mann. Mia, hingegen ist sein Gegenstück und auch nicht unbedingt gegeistert von dem was er tut, dennoch gelingt es ihm ohne große Schwierigkeiten sie zu überzeugen und sie an sich zu binden.
Natürlich finden wir auch hier ein wenig Drama, in Form einer sehr mißgünstigen und kranken Person, die den beiden ihr Glück nicht gönnt und mit sehr unlauteren Mitteln kämpft. Doch wahre Liebe besiegt bekanntlich alles und so auch hier. Denn ein Gallo gibt die Liebe seines Lebens niemals auf und kämpft um sie und das ist auch gut so, denn immerhin gibt es da noch jede Menge anderer italienischer Familienmitglieder, die genug Temperament haben um einem den Kopf zu waschen.
Man liebt diese Familie einfach, die Mama, die Schwester, die Brüder und alle drumherum. So stellt man sich eine Großfamilie vor, die durch dick und dünn gemeinsam geht.
Trotz meiner leichten Kritik am Anfang gebe ich dem Buch sehr gute 4,5 Sterne und freue mich auf einen weiteren Roman aus der Reihe, denn da kommen sicher noch einige bei dieser wirklich liebenswerten Familie.

Hook Me is book two in Chelle Bliss’ Men of Inked Series. So that's two Gallo brothers I've fallen in love with, when the heck do I get book 3? This book is about Michael Gallo and Dr Mia
They first meet while she’s treating him in the ER for injuries he sustained during an MMA fight, yes you read right he’s a fighter and the piercer at Inked Tattoo studio that he co-owns with his siblings. Michael was a womaniser until Mia, she changed something in him and its great to see him as a person grow as well as his relationship with Mia. They like all couples have their challenges to over come but Michael’s a fighter and never stops fighting for Mia’s love.
The characters are written brilliantly and I fell in love with them instantly and seeing Joey aka ‘City’ and Suzy from book one was a nice little extra within the novel. I felt like in this book we got to see a little more of the Gallo family dynamic than in book one and I felt like I was getting to know the family on a whole new level. I loved it, two Gallo brothers down two to go and of course Isabella, I love that girl she is so sassy and swears like a sailor, she is who I want to be when I grow up, Ha.
I really enjoyed this book, it was great to see the author bring to light real issues of poverty and not being able to pay for medical care, it was really touching to read about how Mia’s dream was to help these people, Michael and Mia’s story was fantastic, Thank you and Well Done Chelle Bliss.

LOVED IT!
Again, why hadn't I read a Chelle Bliss books before the Men of Inked series because she certainly knows what she is doing! Some minor drama, real life & personal struggles and then throw in the hot and sexy cage fighter *WINK*
Michael Gallo...totally swoon worthy. Although a passionate cage fighter he is surprisingly gentle. I like how Chelle brings their personalities to each book and you can understand their emotions, struggles, and their behaviors that are truly unique to each of our Inked men so far. You are not getting the same old story with each book. I have read multiple series with spin off characters, but basically had the same plot, was almost a complete recap of the previous book with just a switch of names and a few sex scenes, or lacked depth. Not the case with Hook Me!
It's an all around great read with new family revelations, new love interests and of course some addicting steamy scenes!

This series is about the Gallo Family children. They are all alpha males (except Izzy), who are hardworking, focused, and tend to get what they want. Izzy, who after growing up with a bunch of boys learns a thing or two, is tough as nails.
Michael is a piercer at the Tattoo shop his family owns. He is also an MMA Fighter and when an injury lands him in the ER, the title he wants to win doesn’t seem to be enough anymore. Now he wants the girl too.
Dr. Mia is a doctor in the ER when Michael is brought in. To say she resists Michael’s advances is an understatement.
Yes, there is the heat in this book. While Michael is not as verbal as his brother, he has some game, and I want to play! The chemistry between these two works, and it works well! There also some really sweet and tender moments that will make you swoon.
And just for good measure, throw in a crazy ex, and you have the recipe for a really good book! ~ Devlynn, 4 stars

El segundo hermano Gallo, no difiere en lo elemental de su predecesor, su historia es pareja al anterior libro, puesto que simplemente se trata de la más común definición de la literatura romántica
adulta. Su romance parece pasar a un segundo plano, deslucido por el peso excesivo de su argumentación erótica, apenas se incide en su evolución y su transcurso es algo plano. En sus
páginas, no se da forma a una historia compleja o profunda, trata simplemente de trasladar esa historia acostumbrada, demasiado centrada en la sensualidad y la atracción puramente física, sin una descripción clara de sentimientos.

Chelle Bliss wrote another awesome book I loved this one I honestly stayed up at night just so I could read it! Michael or Mikey mmmmm he could take me down anytime as a MMA fighter that's how HAWT he was! and MIA she is a awesome lady and doctor for him. I think everyone should read this series by Chelle Bliss I am loving them!

This was just ok for me. I liked the first book better. I thought Mia was too uptight. I did love Michael though. I love the family and enjoyed revisiting with Joe and Suzy. I'll continue with this series it super HOT!

4,5⭐️ lettura molto piacevole e Michael è davvero fantastico. E che dire della sua chiassosa famiglia italiana! Uno più simpatico dell’altro. Bello anche il personaggio di Mia. Mi è piaciuta molto anche la storia.
