Disappointed!

The interviewer is Damiens ex, who also pursued his son & is up to something, but the story just ended. It is only about 150 pages with a lot of filler and not worth the time or money. Then, it is 4 chapters of a previously released book. Haveloved Nikki & Damien's story but this was a big waste and will give me pause on buying more of her books.

It's nice hearing about young Damien from the journal entries. I am so loving hearing his personal thoughts that he wrote down.

Yes I was happy to get some more of Damien and Nikki. This is a novela which was nice to read. I just really hoped for a whole book.

This book was a flashback thru sometimes but it's nice to see how strong their marriage still is.

Gosh I really love Damien and Nikki and all the Stark related books that I have purchased But the short length of this book and the cliffhanger were a real disappointment considering I paid $11-99 AUD for this

Disappointed

I was really looking forward to this book but it just fell short for me. It seemed like it ended abruptly. I wished for more substance and less filler. I have all the other books but this one, in my opinion, just felt off. *edit* well I looked back at my review and I guess I was expecting different. I have enjoyed all of the books and in my mind I thought this one would tie things together but it left me with more questions. I don't want my review (I am a nobody and my reviews are hardly read) to stop someone from reading this book. I think that ,sometimes, authors don't think about their readers when they write some of their books. That's just me though. Thank you

I was excited to get another glimpse into Damien and Nikki's lives! I enjoyed this look into things we've loved about this couple. It was like getting a behind-the-scenes look into their relationship! The love between Damien and Nikki is strong and I can't get enough of them. Damien's journals allow the reader to get to know him a little more and see things clearly from his POV. I liked how the chapters were split up into pieces from different books and the journals. This story was told in a unique way and great for fans of this series!

This wasn’t your typical Damien and Nikki Stark book. It’s not even a typical short story. It’s a combination of Damien’s “journal” and an interview with Damien and his family and close friends. But, it takes a turn when the interviewer is someone from his past. It shows how in tune Damien and Nikki continue to be. It was an interesting read, especially since it’s mainly from Damien’s perspective on events from their lives. I’m sure there’s more to come, but from who’s story will it be told?

Interview With The Billionaire
J. Kenner
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This particular phrase/ sentence really hooked me before I had even started reading this piece of stark wonderfullness… It kind of struck my into what I was going to read, and even at the end it held a little something…..
“This book isn’t your typical book. It’s not a novel. It’s not even really a novella, it’s a love letter to you, the fans.”

I’ve always loved everything Stark, but Damien and Nikki will always hold a special place in my heart, the aloha billionaire, the beauty queen, together they are the ultimate power couple, so when Evelyn sends a reporter to interview Damien, his family and closest friends. With everything Damien Stark, the reporter brings her own drama, and it seems to not be a normal interview.

Tough man Damien, does his alpha thing, pulling her into line but with his brother and sister in-law interviewed, best friends Jamie, Ryan and Ollie, and of course their nanny Bree. It’s clear Lena Bridge comes with a vendetta, and I have a feeling it’s gonna explode!

I loved the special little clips at each chapter, little snippets of the stories that created the wonderful Stark story empire. But his journal entries and letters to his mum and daughter, was stirring even haunting! This interview had opened more windows into the early disturbing life of Damien Stark. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

3.75stars--INTERVIEW WITH THE BILLIONAIRE by J. Kenner is a culmination of journal entries by Damien Stark, an interview by a familiar but unwelcome face, and a sneak peak into the lives of Damien and Nikki.

Told from third person perspective (Damien), Damien’s journal entries from the past, and interview questions and answers from wanna-be journalist Maggie Bridge INTERVIEW WITH THE BILLIONAIRE follows the ongoing love affair between billionaire businessman Damien Stark and the love of his life Nikki Fairchild-Stark. Damien is about to turn forty years old, and has agreed to an interview arranged by his publicist but unbeknownst to everyone including Damien Stark, the publicist is a woman from Damien’s past, and her motive may not be one of innocence or work. With certain aspects of their lives off limits, Damien and Nikki quickly realize there may be cause for concern as it pertains to Maggie Bridge, as she interviews the people in their lives.

INTERVIEW WITH THE BILLIONAIRE is a fast paced, quick read that reveals potential for trouble ahead. Maggie Bridge claims to have changed but a name change, and borderline questions proves she is someone determined to destroy them all. The premise is intriguing and engaging; the characters are familiar and energetic.

Wether your re reading and old story or new material, each time always cements just how much I love Damien Stark and how i will never tire of him and Nikki.

Damien Stark is the original alpha. The possessive, protective hot AF and deeply loving man. Successful and powerful.
Together with Nikki, they are the ultimate romance power couple.

An interview with the
billionaire was all the reminders you need.
The only thing is- it’s just not long enough. as i said i always want and need more!

This novella touches base over key events of both Nikki and Damien’s relationship.
So if your new to them these will be the moments that intrigue you and will leave you wanting to know more.
We get tiny bits from all our loved secondary characters of the Stark saga.
And there’s a blast from the past… just what is her agenda ? This can only mean on thing right? That agenda has to be revealed somehow. But throughout this we see just how much nikki and Damien are a unit, in sync with each other, how strong together they are and how solid their relationship, their understanding of each other even without words.

Thank you JK for more Damien and Nikki. But i pray you release more in the future for us ❤️

If you are a fan of Damien and Nikki Stark you will love Interview with the Billionaire. From the moment I picked this book up I was drawn and captivated, maybe it was because I love this couple so much or maybe it was because this was a very different read because the story is an interview, either way it was a wonderful read that I highly recommend to all lovers of this couple. In saying that I think you need to know Damien and Nikki to appreciate this story so please don’t pick this up if you haven’t read any of the previous books.
When Damien is approached for an interview he knows it will bring up plenty of memories both good and bad, it could leave him, Nikki, their family and friends vulnerable so he sets some ground rule and insists some of their life is definitely off limits. So will agreeing to the interview bring back the past that they have tried to put behind them and what happens when he realises the interviewer is a woman who could destroy him and his family….one click to find out.
I loved everything about this book, I adore this couple and I was excited to get more from them and all I’m going to say is Ms Kenner did not disappoint, this interview was every expected and more.

4.5 Star Review Interview With The Billionaire (Stark Trilogy #8) by J Kenner

I could not wait to dive into Interview With The Billionaire and although it was not what I was expecting, I did enjoy it. When Damien Stark agrees to an interview he is shocked when the interviewer turns out to be an ex flame Maggie Bridge. Not only that but it appears she has her own plans for the interviews.
If you’re a fan of Damien and Nikki Stark then you will want to one click this one on release. Although they have out some of their lives off limits for the interview, there are a number of aspects that leave Damien. Nikki , their family and friends vulnerable.
Although not a long book, Ms. Kenner has packed a lot into the story and it’s fast paced. It was entertaining to read how their family and friends view the love that Damien and Nikki share.
Will agreeing to the interviews bring the past back to haunt them yet again? Will Maggie finally get the opportunity to destroy the life and happiness that they have built? Will Damien be able to protect Nikki ad the family they have built?
One click and find out.

Interview with the Billionaire is for the Stark junkies out there for sure! Damien’s POV and oh the feels!!!! When he is journaling in his childhood – it just grips you and gives us a look at those emotions of his abuse from that nasty dad and coach. Totally read through some ugly crying tears.

As for the gist of the book – the family is sitting for an interview (obviously via the title). Ms. Jenner always throws a little drama via our interviewer “Maggie Bridge” AKA “Magdalena Spicer” AKA “Lena”. I got a total split personality vibe from this chick from the beginning. She is one of the many past ladies in Damien’s life who borders on “stalkerish” from the start.

Oh and we gets some juicy tidbits from the Stark circle of friends and family as well. A little Jackson and Sylvia, Ryan and Jamie, and my fave - Evelyn! This novella is such a treat for us diehard Stark fans and as usual Ms. Jenner throws in another twisty turn in the abrupt ending. I am sure this is not the last we will hear from the gold-digging "reporter" Lena/Maggie/Magdalena and I am here for it!

I have been a huge fan of Damien and Nikki since Release Me. I loved that J. Kenner came up with this amazing idea and brings us more of our favorite Starks and clan. Interview with the Billionaire is a fast paced book. It really isn’t a story, just a quick visit with the friends we come to love.

We dive into Damien’s thoughts and get into his mind set as he ventured into life before and after Nikki. It shows how much he fell for Ms. Fairchild and was a sucker from the get go. I loved how he truly believes no matter what they were meant to be together.

I loved this compilation between Damien’s journal entries and interview. It was like looking in from the outside. I smiled a lot knowing they are all doing good. I loved the ending. There was a bit of anticipation building up and I am suspecting this will turn into a new J. Kenner book within this world. I can’t wait!

If you haven’t read the Stark Saga, STOP, go read those and come back.

Nikki and Damien’s story has primarily been told from Nikki’s POV, and the readers didn’t get Damien’s POV until much later in the series. Instead of rewriting the original books of the series from Damien’s POV only, like has been done in the past, the author has done something I haven’t seen and really enjoyed. Between chapters during present time, an interview of Damien along with Nikki and their family, letters and journal entries from Damien’s POV are included.

There are two things that kept this from being 5 stars. First the repetitive language and banter between Damien and Nikki. It’s a comment I’ve made in previous review that I feel like I’m rereading the same conversations over and over within each and the series in total. Second, this story is suppose to essentially be the end of the Stark Saga, which in my opinion is time, but there is this big ole door open that will probably play out in one of the spin-off series, but it left the book feeling unfinished.

Damien is wary of following through on the interview once he finds out the reporter is an ex who he did not leave on good terms. True to their relationship, Damien openly discussed his concerns with Nikki. Past Nikki might have felt a bit threatened by their former relationship. Matured and married Nikki knows her husband well and supports his decision to try and uncover the hidden agenda.
For fans of Damien and Nikki, this is a wonderful retrospect on their relationship and all the key people that make up their family. I enjoyed reading Damien's journal notes as they gave us more of a glimpse into his emotional reflections of past personal events. This book also gave us more conversational dialogue between Damien and Nikki that wasn't necessarily fraught with an overriding situation that needed to be handled. I agree with some of the other readers who thought this book ended a bit abruptly, but we already know there's something brewing involving Damien's oldest son, Ashton. I'm looking forward to reading his story, and hopefully his dad and stepmom make an appearance!

Story: ★★★✰ 3.5
Steam: 🔥🔥
Cliffhanger: ✅
Novella: ✅

♦️Billionaire Romance, magazine interviews, journal entries, deception, secrets, close family and friends.

Damien Stark is turning forty years old and has agreed to let a magazine feature an in-depth article depicting his life, family, and business. He’s hoping the article will bring publicity to a recent project, a new sports center he completed with his brother, Jackson Steele. Unfortunately, everything begins badly when Damien learns the interviewer is Maggie Bridge, an ex-lover who previously spread false narratives about their relationship. He decides to continue with the interviews, but it’s not long before it becomes obvious
Maggie has some kind of agenda planned.

A good quick read for Damien and Nikki fans. The journal entries where Damien recorded his thoughts and feelings during key events in his life are great, but I did not enjoy how the story ended with no hint as to what Maggie (the interviewer) is up to. Hopefully, there will be answers soon. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

What a unique angle J Kenner went with. I absolutely loved it. I could read volumes of updates like this…hint hint…keep them coming! Loved the new perspective…the gaps of my imagination that were filled in!

“You’re as much a part of me as my blood. As the air I breathe.”

Ahhhhh~I never get tired of reading about this power couple. It’s like a friend you haven’t been in touch with for awhile, but you reconnect instantly as if no time passed by. Always look forward to reconnecting with them.

““Tell me what you want from me, Mr. Stark.” “You’ve already given me everything I could ever want. Right now, I just want to enjoy what’s mine.””

Who wouldn’t want a man to feel this way about them?

“This man who is so much more than physical beauty. He’s strength and intelligence, commanding and tender. He’s honorable and strong, fierce and loyal. And he loves me.”

To be able to adore someone like this. To have their respect, trust, loyalty and passion. Sign me up!!!

I love reading all things Damien and Nikki Stark and although I loved this book, it didn't make me feel like it was the conclusion of the original Stark Trilogy (even though it is book 8). This book is written from Damien's point of view as he reminisces about significant past events in his life. He, and his close family and friends, are being interviewed about his life as he turns 40 and looking back over his achievements. Of course for Damien, his family is his greatest achievement! As always though, not everything runs smoothly.

I liked how the book was written - the diary excerpts, the quotes from previous Stark novels and focusing on the important events in Damien's life from his perspective. My reason for the four stars and not the usual five that the Stark books deserve, is that the book felt unfinished and unresolved. I appreciate that Damien and Nikki will continue to show up in spin off series, but I would have liked closure of their HOA. Still a great read!

Damian and Nikki are one of my favorite couples. Cannot get enough of these two!

Damian, Nikki, family, friends, etc. answer questions in a two day interview. It was a surprise to find out who the interviewer actually was. She’s now known as a reputable journalist, but she was starting to show her true colors near the end of it. We see hints into Damian and Nikki’s present life with their children. There are journal entries, also, that go deep into Damian’s mindset during times in his life. It is an interesting way of hearing from Damian’s POV of the past. Of course, I liked the steam and the total love between them, as always, with some little hints of kink. I’m hoping there will another book to find out how this all turned out.

Fans have been hoping for more of Damien and Nikki Stark and J. Kenner did not disappoint. However, this is not your regular read. This is an insight into Damien's mind through his journal writing, quotes that get to the heart of their relationship and a compilation of interviews from those who know and love them the most. But this is also an interview with a twist as someone from Damien's past comes back and wants to tell her side of the story. Once again it is the Stark family for the win!! A must read.

Interview with the Billionaire (Stark Trilogy Book 8)

After all of the Stark books I have enjoyed reading over the years, I was terribly disappointed in the ending of this book. The story was definitely true to the books that they chatted about in this book interview. Julie Kenner is a fantastic writer and has a good ideas on whatever she decides to write, but the ending wasn't what I expected. Anyways enjoy this book the ending of Damien and Nikki. I am sure we will be hearing more about The Stark families as time passes by. Enjoy!!

I’ve been captivated by Damien and Nikki from the first book, Release Me. Getting to delve into Damien’s journals as he remembers key moments while preparing for an interview was perfection for me. He is such a successful man but also so complex that this allowed me to appreciate all he’s overcome even more. We get to touch base with the entire Stark family along with all their extended family and friends along the way. An excellent addition to this series. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Anytime a JKenner fan can get more of Damien and Nikki it's a great day. I've been a huge fan of this couple, and this interview with a billionaire hit the spot. Although I didn't care for Lena this short book touches on alot of the past drama in their relationship. Loved it all. Am looking forward to see what this author has in store for us in 2023!

Sorry this book was so anticlimactic. It was supposed to be the last book of Nikki n Damien's story but it lacked everything that was needed to form the epilogue for the characters. The way it ended so abruptly and the scene felt so incomplete. Ngl I loved reading more of these characters but this didn't have the essence the previous ones had. And for a final book, it was poor and disappointing 🤷🏽‍♀️

I really enjoyed reading more Damien and Nikki. It does feel like we're left with a cliffhanger, though. I hope we'll get the rest of what devious plan Lena is working on. I loved the journal entries, really moving further insight into the mind and heart of the greatest alpha male of all time...so confident and so very sexy.
