      Ganesh Visarjan Importance

Ganesh Visarjan is one of the most revered days in Hindu tradition. It is the day when devotees bid a heartfelt farewell to Lord Ganpati. Following 10 days of worship and various puja rituals to honor Ganesh Ji, devotees immerse the idol in water bodies such as rivers, ponds, or the sea on the 11th day. Some even create makeshift ponds at home for this ritual.

The celebration of Ganesh Visarjan is marked by grandeur and enthusiasm, with devotees seeking Lord Ganesha's blessings. It is believed that Lord Ganesha grants the wishes of his devotees before returning to his celestial abode. According to the Panchang, performing Ganesh Visarjan during an auspicious Muhurat ensures that Lord Ganesha bestows happiness, love, wealth, and abundance upon the devotees. People gather with family and friends, conduct puja and aarti, and then carry the idol to the water, chanting "Ganpati Bappa Morya, Mangal Murti Morya, Purva Varshi Lav Karya" as part of the immersion ritual.
