any suggestion on how to raise interest in the patch set? do i need to open a new task?
Someone would need to approve the patch by giving it a Code-Review +2 for it to be merged, Anyone in the MediaWiki group, or the specific group of owners for that repository can do that.
@Pppery i am good on the repo ownership front. rly a none-issue. but why is the Patchset still dangling? the tests run successful now.
The consequence of that is that you will lose automatic libraryupgrader commits and have to repoint translatewiki, and I'll have to process an extension archival. But you probably don't care about that, and I agree that the process here is broken.

@Aklapper thanks for your attention. considering my experience so far i will probably just set up a new fork in github and point the extension's wikipage to it. much simpler much faster :) thanks again!

@Edesol: Hi, I am sorry for the late reply. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Gerrit/Privilege_policy#Requesting_Gerrit_privileges is ambiguous about this situation.

I don't see a history of them having being added either. I will leave this open for a while and then close it.
@Aklapper perhaps they never had security access to begin with?
Perhaps they've already been removed by someone else?
Hey! I'm from the security team and I didn't see either of these folks in acl*security or acl*security_wmde. Perhaps they've already been removed by someone else?
@jhathaway: Can you please confirm from I/F side as part of the offboarding that all steps have been completed other than the acl*security one? I have done so but could use a confirmation/review. Thanks.

Change #1064800 merged by JHathaway:
[operations/puppet@production] clinic-duty: offboard gtzatchkova
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/1064800
Change #1064800 had a related patch set uploaded (by JHathaway; author: JHathaway):
[operations/puppet@production] clinic-duty: offboard gtzatchkova
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/1064800
I also removed you as a reviewer from the already proposed patches for the Lingo extension (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/q/project:mediawiki/extensions/Lingo+status:open) – you may have gotten one-time notifications about that.

sure will do

@jhathaway Could you take over from here as part of clinic duty and since you are in infra foundations? I know there is a process for this in your team that probably involves some other checkboxes and running that offboarding script.
The actual LDAP UIDs are gtzatchkova (and ALSO: guergana but that isn't in the relevant groups) and frri.
Thanks, @Dzahn, the spreadsheet has been updated.
- removed from Gerrit group wmde-mediawiki
- removed both users from Phabricator group WMF-NDA. done.
- I have no rights to manage acl*security, that is for the security team
- acl*security_wmde seems to be self-managed by WMDE management based on the history on https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/manage/4572/

hello @Aklapper @Novem_Linguae and All,
Aug 14 2024
Thank you all for your support!
Looks like there's sufficient consensus and this task has been open for longer than the required time.
Looking at the gerrit config, it does look like you've removed all your user watches and there are no project watches for that repo that I saw on the gerrit side. And removing you from the repo would not effect your notifications, only your ability to merge code.

ok, the hint is in the error log.

That's a good general question suited for the wikitech-l mailing list or another support venue
can i run phpcs locally to verify before commit? any hint howto? or alternatively rerun the ci after the commit?
Manually, I'm afraid (I don't think we have a linter in place that automagically fixes those things).
