See T193409#4169690 for the place to report this - thanks! CLosing as invalid as the tool maintainer does not use Wikimedia Phabricator to maintain tool tasks.

Created an issue at https://github.com/danmichaelo/croptool/issues/111 . This seems to be an issue with older versions of ImageMagick, but I think I found a workaround.
