Shigeki instantly fell in love with the girl. Her name was Yayoi. Shigeki buys a telescope with the help of his father and starts watching her. But after a while, Shigeki has to move away. He wrote a love letter to Yayoi, put it in her post and left town. Shigeki grew up and still watching Yayoi. One night as he watched Yayoi, a man appears in her room. When he sees the man kissing Yayoi, Shigeki goes crazy. He married a woman named Misaki even though he didn't love her. But the two has a son and are living happily. Just as Yayoi married and had a daughter. Even then, Shigeki kept watching Yayoi. As Shigeki turns 50, his eyes are weakened by using his eyes too much for all those years.
