Ta-Yeh creates opportunities to "accidentally" run into Wan-Ni and befriends her anew. Grace was the only one who was kind to young neglected Ta-Yeh and shared her lunch with him in primary school until she moved away. Formerly an aspiring dancer, Grace lost the use of her legs in an accident and has been dejected and reclusive. Ta-Yeh is on a mission to make Grace happy again.
