🎥 Protecting Communities in Essex: A Closer Look Last month, we shared the exciting news about the completion of a coastal defence project in Jaywick, Essex, designed to protect over 3,000 homes and businesses. Now, we’re excited to show you how this project not only strengthened flood defences but also saved over 1,500 tonnes of carbon and generated over £1 million in local social economic value. This video highlights how our team at BAM UK & Ireland, in collaboration with the Environment Agency and local partners, has delivered sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and the local community. #MakingPossible #Sustainability #Infrastructure #FloodDefence #EngineeringExcellence #CarbonReduction #ClimateResilience #SocialValue #ProtectingCommunities

Collaboration lies at the heart of the success of the Derrinlough Windfarm project. Through close collaboration with our client Bord na Móna and key partners H&MV Engineering and Vestas, we have ensured that safety, sustainability, innovation and efficiency are the guiding principles of our work. #MakingPossible
Members of Wind Energy Ireland’s Construction Safety Awareness working group were delighted to be hosted on site at Bord na Móna's Derrinlough Wind Farm in Co. Offaly last month. We enjoyed a site tour of the wind farm on a lovely sunny day! We saw the high standards of health & safety management, quality construction methods and collaborative efforts of several of our member companies including the quality civil construction work of BAM UK & Ireland, the electrical infrastructure and substation construction work by H&MV Engineering and the latest wind turbine technology and installations being installed by Vestas. Thanks to our members involved in hosting and to the on-site management teams for facilitating us and providing inductions, refreshments, and a guided tour of the project. . . . #ConstructionSafety #RenewableEnergy #Collaboration
