An actor with 8 Broadway credits to his name, he earned his first Tony nomination in 2002 for his main stem debut as Jimmy Smith in Thoroughly Modern Millie. He earned his second in 2009 for his performance as Claude in the Diane Paulus-helmed revival of Hair. In 2014, he won a Laurence Olivier Award for originating the role of Elder Price in the West End production of The Book of Mormon. In 2017, I was fortunate enough to have seen him as Cornelius Hackl in the Bette Midler-led revival of Hello, Dolly!. The following night, I attended the Tony Awards, where he won Best Featured Actor in a Musical, which as fate would have it, was co-presented to him by his former Millie leading lady, Sutton Foster.
