Sometimes you are missing a piece of your plot puzzle and only time can fix that, in that case, I work on other scenes or even a different story altogether. The missing piece can take hours, days or even years to be found. I have had short-stories that only got ripe after many years, but the waiting was worth it because stories are like wine, the longer they take to ripe the better. :-)(less)

Mid Year Book Freakout 2024

This is a Tag, created by Earl Grey Books, that I happily do every June/July and sometimes even late in August, because it is an entertaining way to talk about how my reading is going towards the middle of the year.

Echo of Worlds by M.R. Carey
"Excellent! I had such a blast with the first book, and my only caveat was the infuriating cliffhanger of an ending. Echo of Worlds concludes the story and suffers from no such issue. This book kept the elements I loved, the adventure and sharp insigh" Read more of this review »
