He thought that by giving her tennis lessons that he had acquired luck. In the end that luck is gone as Adelaide informs him that she and Hugo are to be married. All that's left for him is to dance his way perhaps as a gentlemen into another rich woman's life.(less)

Quick question! So I've read the Murder at the Vicarage, and it seems like the 2nd of the Miss Marple mysteries is the 13 Problems. It's not available through my library and I don't want to buy it yet, so if I were to read this 3rd Miss Marple mystery, would I be lost/missing out on something from the 2nd? In other words, are all the Miss Marples stand alones or does it matter what order you read them in? Thanks!

"Quite a feasible one. But of course it's only my own idea. Tommy Bond," she continued, "and Mrs. Martin, our new schoolmistress. She went to wind up the clock and a frog jumped out" ??
