Anybody know why Butch almost died from drinking Vishous's blood but nothing happened to Jane even though they were both human at the time?

Sherily Because Butch is a Male. They can only drink from the opposite sex.

Sherily Remember, Butch was a Detective/Cop so he knows a lot of people. He kind of states it in the beginning when he sees her the he had been to the hospita…moreRemember, Butch was a Detective/Cop so he knows a lot of people. He kind of states it in the beginning when he sees her the he had been to the hospital on many occasions. So he does know her and she does know him too. But since his transition, he beefed up, grew and changed a bit, so she just can't recognize him and figure out that he is the Butch she knew as a cop. (less)
