“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die . . . A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

War has come to Algoran. The Gulstaa nation is determined to expand their territory with merciless resolve. Their end goal is revenge for a past defeat — they want to conquer the Mountain Mokta and anyone else in their way.

Jordan SnowFire is now the Mokta Chieftess. She has the daunting task of stopping a conflict she never asked for. Will she seek the wisdom of God or the wisdom of her tribe? What impact will the blood of SnowFire flowing through her veins have on the way she conducts this war? How far will she go to protect her family and the Mokta people?

Meanwhile, Erica Melendez finds herself trapped in the middle of the hostilities. Tragedy forces her away from the Ullvarr village and into circumstances she never imagined when she came to this world. Can she survive long enough to be reunited with Jordan?

Loyalties are tested. Decisions are made. And Algoran will never be the same after Jordan’s Arrow finds its target.

I enthusiastically recommend Jordan’s Arrow, the second book in Allen Steadham’s Jordan of Algoran Series. It’s a thrilling read, and I expect that you, like me, won’t be able to resist the urge to read the entire book in one sitting. (The kids and work can wait!). First, let’s get the negatives out of the way: if you are reading this book for its explicitly Christian elements, then you’re likely to be disappointed because God in general and Christianity in particular play a very small part in the narrative. It seems obvious to me that God’s role will increase over the next few books, but I can’t make any promises. That said, Christian readers won’t be offended by anything in this book, and they’ll be cheered by the author’s emphasis on traditional marriage as a pre-requisite for intimacy (which is never described, or even alluded to, in any way that might offend even the most sensitive readers). There are some “magical” elements that might offend some, but if you’re that sensitive to depictions of fictional magic, then I doubt you’d be interested in speculative fiction anyway, so I don’t think this will be a problem for the vast majority of readers. Second, some of the exposition is a bit rushed, and some of the chronology can be confusing, but these are minor problems.

Now, let’s get to the good stuff! The plot raced along, and I was genuinely interested to learn the answers to the many mysteries presented along the way. I thought the world-building was superb, as I really believed that such a place could exist. (It lacked any of the absurdities or errors that plague so many fictional works in which a place acts as it does or is at it is merely to serve the plot or to be “interesting.”). As an Edgar Rice Burroughs fan, I loved the frequent use of the planet’s various languages. I thought the characters acted like real people with the attributes attributed to them would have acted in response to the circumstances presented; that is, nobody put on their plot armor or did something that made sense based solely upon events or information they would have acquired if and only if they had read to the end first. In short, it’s well-crafted. And, more importantly, fun.

If you’re looking for a great, Christian-friendly read, then you’ll love Jordan’s Arrow.

After the events that took place years ago, Jordan has grown up to be a beautiful woman, wife, mother and chieftess.
When the Gustaa nation decides to wage war against Mountain Mokta to avenge a defeat they faced many years ago, it is up to Jordan Snowfire to save them.
With a responsibility she wasn't ready for yet, will she trust the right people to be by her side at this hour of need?

Jordan's Arrow is the sequel to Allen Steadham's fantasy novel, Jordan's World.
There has been a lot of improvement in the story of this book compared to the first one.
Jordan is more mature and wise, the actual storyline including her family is a hundred times more powerful and the action in this book is more prominent.
We see a gradual character development within her and how she has to learn to balance family and her duties.
Arrow, Jordan's son is facing problems of his own because he is different and still being a child he has to deal with a lot more than a child his age.
There is a lot more great content in this book and the story is written with more depth, and imagination.
My one issue is there were parts that could have been cut out or written concisely because it makes you lose concentration. (Similar to what I felt in the first book.)
This book also ends on a great cliffhanger and I'm looking forward to read the next in the series.

Jordan's Arrow is the sequel of the book Jordan's World. Jordan is not just seventeen years old now. Infact, she is now a wife, mother and a chieftess. Her son is Arrow who is different. Jordan was given the responsibility to protect the Mountain Mokta from the Gulstaan whose aim was to capture it. She was made the Chieftess of the Mokta people.

Grab a copy of the book and get to know yourself will the war happen between Mokta and Gulstaan? If yes, will Jordan Snowfire be able to protect the Mokta tribe and the kingdom?

The story is full of suspense and therefore I was reading it with full interest. I got my answers that I was waiting to know after reading Jordan's World. There are many twists and turns in the story. The character Arrow is much impressive and likeable. Jordan's character has developed a lot. Even as a Chieftess, she has done very well. A strong Chieftess!!!!

Overall, I enjoyed the story a lot. The story will be continued in its sequel Jordan's Deliverance. I would recommend this Science fantasy to all my fellow readers.

Usually when I read a series, I end up getting distracted between each installment, moving to a completely random book before continuing the full series. When I finished Jordan's World I had to immediately start this one.

I actually kind of liked this one a bit more than the first book in the series. There was more depth into the entire story-line, as well as characters. I loved watching the characters grow and evolve even more than they had in the first novel. I also found the conflict more intriguing.

I really liked that this one involved their family a few years in the future, but it did confuse me a bit at first. I expected things to pick up exactly where they left of, and though it skipped forward a few years, Steadham still gave insight into the missing years.

I personally found the suspense to be stronger in this one. I was on the edge of my seat throughout pretty much the entire novel, and again, it took less than twenty-four hours to finish the book. I kept expecting one specific turn of events, so I did get a little frustrated when the book ended. It definitely didn't ruin the book even in the slightest bit, though. In fact, I think the ending was perfect, despite the initial disappointment.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book via the author and Prism Book Tours. This did not influence my opinion in any way.

Jordan's Arrow by Allen Steadham' is second book in the Algoran Series.
--
This book includes lot of action sequences and character development especially of Jordan. She is now a mother and a skillful warrior.
As the war between Gustaa nation and Mukta Tribe is announced Jordan is given the responsibility to protect her tribe.
She has lot on her shoulders. On one side she is skeptical in choosing the right person for the war, and on the other she is concerned about her son because of his different abilities and issues he faces.
--
I particularly liked this novel than the first one. There is more structure and body to the story line. Jordan is developed character now, and knows how to deal in difficult situations.
There are surprising elements to bend and twist the story in terms of Deathwingers characters and Arrow's abilities.
Comparatively I enjoyed this more book than the first one.
--
The only criticism I want to lighten up is the book could have been more concised at some parts. Because that sometimes hampers the pace of reading.
That's the only issue I faced. Hopefully, in the third part it will get resolved.

Book 1 left me wanting more. Book 2 delivered and gave me more than I expected.
With Book 2, Allen showed the maturity of Jordan and how her life has now been altered by her choices. Good choices, yet there is more in store for her and her family and friends.
Again, this book was able to bring about the complexities of human nature and the different personalities. And there are more added to the line-up of those from Earth.
This second book of the series sets the stage early and takes the reader on an action filled ride. So much happens!
And it was handled well.
The difference in this book is that unlike others, we are given snippets from the broad range of someone's life. Shown the pivotal moments in their life where one decision can alter the course of the future.
I love how Allen portrays this, from raw emotion to loving acceptance, all the good and bad decisions, nothing sugar coated.
Definitely a book that had me waiting on the next.

Jordan's Arrow is the second book in the Jordan Algoran Series. In this book, we witness much development in the character of Jordan. She is now a chieftess, a wife and mother of her son Arrow.

She has a challenge to protect Mountain Mokta and it's people from Gulstaan who wanted to capture it. Will Jordan be able to protect the tribe of Mokta and the kingdom?

The storyline is really interesting. The twists and turns of events made this story much more interesting. Story is full of action.

I am really excited to read Jordan's Deliverance now that is the third part in the series. Science Fantasy fans should definitely read this.

MY TAKE🌼:

-Jordan's arrow is a sequel that belongs to a series "The Jordan of algoran". Jordan SnowFire is now the Mokta Chieftess. She has the daunting task of stopping a conflict she never asked for. War has come to Algoran. The Gulstaa nation is determined to expand their territory with merciless resolve. Their end goal is revenge for a past defeat — they want to conquer the Mountain Mokta and anyone else in their way.
- This being my third book by the author I could literally see the refinement done by him as compared to the first two. The story has greater content, more depth, more clarity in vision and imagination. Thiis time the book has a lot of thrill and action compared to the first one. I feel this book is framed in a much better way, new challenges brought new twist and turns which made the book more interesting. Jordan is now a mother and a responsible leader. I love the fact how Indestructible women are portrayed in his book it makes me feel more powerful as a woman. and of course the book had to end with white Knuckle and I am looking forward to read his next.

WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK🌼:

- This book is Not bound by the constraints of reality, it has the potential to keep expanding and growing in ways people may not have even conceived of yet.

-The elements of this book are such that they can incorporate limitless, only constrained by the author’s imagination.

-The book is able to build inventive worlds that blend what readers’ realities with fresh elements they have never envisioned.

"I do not have the luxury of grieving over my actions right now. Too many people need me."

Jordon an earthling was kidnapped and bought to Algoran, survived many attacks, was chosen by the Snowfire herself chooses to live on Algoran and begin her life with her mate. She gives birth to a boy named Arrow and cultivates her family.

But she is fated to do more. She was protected by the goddess of mountains, and that transformed her totally. She is now being drilled to be the next chieftess of the Mokta people.

But she isn't yet willing to take such a big position and her tribe is attacked by the Gulstaa people who have been slaughtering the entire villages and now reaching Mokta.

It's time for new alliances and oddities.

Since this is the sequel to the first book and I really loved the way Jordon's character has evolved and unfolded.

Deathwingers were my favourite creature in the book. Also, the bend that the story takes in terms of Arrow was really surprising and I am eager to know his role in the coming part.

After the enormous war finishes up, Jordon begins to bring peace realizing that war is never a solution and I really liked that being a strong chieftess who can erode all tribes single yet she talks of truce and agrees to never go into war again.

Across-the-board, I enjoyed the book and was able to read it faster than the first part due to my curiosity.

Also, the 3rd part is coming out soon.

“Avatar”, “Lord of the Rings” and “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” meet in “Jordan’s Arrow” to tell a story of how seeking an escape from your problems can become a “portal” to finding your true purpose when God and His Son become part of your story.
Jordan and Erica find this to be true for them as they become part of a primal alien world teetering on the brink of war.
The world-building in this book is really good. I personally am not a fantasy fan, but the many fantasy elements were meaningful to the unfolding of the story which helped me stay on track and interested in the development of the characters and the overall story.
I like how Jordan, in particular, finds a building relationship with her Creator in an alien world when she previously hadn’t been able to find him in her earthly struggles.
The only negative for me was that the alien creatures were very human in their thought processes and in their social structures and interactions. I think it would have been more interesting to explore how aliens might have a completely different way of valuing, thinking and developing a “worldview” than we do in our world. In other words, this story could have just as well happened on earth in many ways.
“Jordan’s Arrow” is a great read. I recommend it heartily to those looking for an escape to an alien world to gain a new perspective on life in this world.

💞This is the second book in the Jordan's Series and I was way too much excited to read it not because of the hype but the book one left me with so much of curiosity and questions. To be honest, this is the real content, this book is truly a gem and I feel that book one was just the beginning, things get way more intense in this part. Each and everything converges in a way that we can't even imagine.

I just loved the writing and I felt it was so well written and fast paced. Also, the new challenges that has to be accepted and faced, the new characters and the plot that took new twists, it was so much fun to read it and I got many answers, this could be read as a standalone but more better if you read this after you complete book one. I will definitely recommend this to each and all.

Jordan has indeed grown up since the beginning of Jordan's World. She is far from the misplaced teenager and has instead become wife, mother, and chieftess. But her problems are far from over. She's dealing with the potential side-effects of the supernatural abilities that were bestowed upon her, a war with an enemy race of aliens, and all the trials that come with watching one's children grow up and make their own decisions.

The obvious care that the author put into worldbuilding, from the description of the different people groups and their customs, to their languages, makes this an excellent science fiction book. But there is also a hint of fantasy on this archaic world and, of course, a strong strand of Christian speculative as Jordan tries to figure out what God's will is for her in every situation.

I received a copy of this book from the author, and the thoughts and opinions are my own.

An interesting book that compelled me to read it to the last page. It wasn't really my type of book although I must admit that it was well written, intriguing and Imaginative. If you like primitive worlds and strong women with amazing powers, then this book is for you. It is very interesting, fast paced and has all the qualities of a good fantasy read.
