The illustrations in this short story are bold, imaginative, and can open up to lots of creativity as you read this book to your kids. Being a cat lover, I was immediately drawn to this book. I have to admit, though, that the rhyming isn’t as rhythmic as it should be, but I still recommend this book. There is a lot to discover in the pictures and in the words. I loved the comfortable ending. I received an advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

What Cats Dream About
3.5 Stars

This is a fast-paced, entertaining and fun read. This book takes the reader on a journey to learn what cats get up to in their dreams. This made for some funny and adorable kitty illustrations. I loved the muted color palette; it's easy on the eyes. Thus, making What Cats Dream About a great choice for a bedtime story. The illustrations are bright and eye-catching. Some whimsical, others a bit creepy. I like how many adorable kitties were crammed within this book; they make me happy.

This book will definitely get you thinking.
I like the sweet ending. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really love the illustrations in this book. I like the concept of cats dreaming. However, I found the text/poetry to be very clunky and unenjoyable. To earn my five stars, I would've maybe simplified the text, and made it prose instead of poetry. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Whimsical and imaginative

I read this book to my toddler and we both loved it. The illustrations were beautiful and the story itself was fun to read and talk about. We will definitely keep this book in our regular bedtime reading rotation.

This book Amazing!

My daughter loved this book, it was interesting, and it encouraged her to read!
My only complaint is that it was very short, and my daughter read it in seconds!
Other than that, it was a great book!

What a fun, imaginative, beautiful read!

The prose is sure to stoke many a little's imagination, expand their vocabulary, pique their curiosity, make them ask (more) questions and maybe even fall in love with cats and ask for them as a pet.

The illustrations are beautifully done. The colors are bold and bright and the art style is endearing.

Overall, it's an informative, engaging, attractive read for littles.

I'd definitely flip through the book just by myself to relish the beautiful prose and wonderful illustrations, but I'd share it with my little one, too. It's that good.

Voluntarily reviewed after reading a free ARC.

Definitely highly recommended! I'd give more stars if I could.
