Disappointed
Very disappointed, not really short stories, most are more ideas & potential short stories, half thoughts. Wish I could get my money back.

Was so excited for this book but was disappointed! Was the first book of hers I have not wanted to finish. Can’t wait for her next release in April hoping for a better read.

I am a high fan of her books, so I was thrilled to be able to do this collection. I was not counting on what I read. This is so so different from her other work. These show how broad she can write and release frustration through her writing. I can say that it has opened my opinion on her creativity more and wished these short stories were longer

Short stories.
This book is a set of short stories. While I l usually love this author, some of these stories weren’t great. Most were good and I wasn’t sorry to read them but a couple just weren’t up to par. Still in all, a fun read. Some authors just don’t do short stories worth anything but these were well written and each told a story.

Not what I expected
I've been a fan of MS Kenyon's for a very long time and was expecting the same type of storyline as her Dark series but this was really different. Maybe that explains my disappointment

If I didn't know Sherrilyn Kenyon, one of my favorite authors had written these, I wouldn't have believed it. These are very short ghost stories without much substance. Most of them are plotted like a bitter person's fantasy revenge against a hated ex or associate. They are also written very simply, like a story one would tell on a dark night around a campfire. Some amusing moments and a mildly spooky ending. No interesting characters. I read them all in less than a hour.

Everything about Sherrilyn Kenyon and everything she had to go throughin the past few years are all written very cleverly in these short stories and I enjoyed the hell out of them and anyone who doesnt know about her struggles need to read up then there stories will be her venting and I say that if someone screwed you over use your best quality which is her writing and vent it all out. I didnt know that she wrote horror stories and I say horror lightly because she kind of made it a little bit funny cause I can tell that she wants to hunt people down like Predator and I am here for it.

This aS a great collection of short stories. Truly short and to the point. I enjoyed them all. The one about the editor was my favorite. But I also really liked the twist on a couple of others too. They’re all good. The last one made me giggle. So many collections claiming to be short stories are really just novellas and novelettes these days. It was nice to see some authors are still capable of writing a good one or two page SHORT story. Easy 5 stars for me.

A collection of quick read, creepy, fantastic tales. The first story gave me chills. But my personal favorite was Karma. Long time fans will enjoy it. Definitely dark and might just make you think twice. Loved it!

I wouldn't call this a short story collection when most of the stories were so small and ended before the story came to life. And most had the common theme of a cheating, abusive spouse and an annoying attorney for said husband (which reflects on Kenyon's current life with her ex). The only story that really had some good fluff was the last one!

Not the typical Sherrilyn I was expecting but a great read! The title is no understatement. I do wish some of the stories were longer though, to help explain and wrap up the endings but these are scary stories and sometimes the readers imagination is more then what the author might come up with. If you are a fan of Sherrilyn or part of her Legion and haven't read this yet you should!

Boring and unimaginative stories. Also confusing narrative in many of the stories so that I ended up wondering what the heck I had just read. Not an enjoyable experience.
Maybe the author would do better with a longer format but I'm not really much inclined to try one of her novels after this dismal collection.

A Curated Menagerie Of Short Stories
A departure from Kenyon’s usual genres of Dark Hunter & League Assassins, but a good read. Some of the stories end rather abruptly and left me thinking there should have been ‘more’ to finish polishing off a good tale.
Anyone who’s a fan is f Kenyon will enjoy the variety.

ALL HAIL SHERRILYN!!!!! How much have we missed her?????? A TON! The second I saw this short story collection was going to be published, I sure did pre-order it. I sure did read it...several times XD

Sherrilyn Kenyon is by far one of my fav authors but this short story collection was a short and easy read but wasn’t my favorite. I definitely rolled my eyes after a couple of the stories were over because they were just that silly.

Good reading of some scary stories. I especially liked the last one, which was sort of along the lines of the song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia".
There is one story that is also in another short book, Dark Rage being the book. The story itself is "The Neighbors".

Love it! This is a fun gathering of some really toothy horror stories. If you thought that Sherrilyn could only write romance, you are in for a real surprise. Enjoy!
