If you like RH you are going to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE tOkay, I'm going to tell you something important.
Are you ready?
I just finished Wilder by Leila James.
If you like RH you are going to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this. If you've never read an RH start with the best. Start with Leila. If you think you don't like RH, these books will most likely change your mind.
Here's how you do it. Kingston, Cannon, Archer (Brothers of Hawthorne Hall) Mason, Bear, Duke (Bastards of Bainbridge Hall) Royal, Beckham, Wilder (Brutal Boys of SIN)
Nine books. Each one perfection in it's own right. But together...holy sh*t. It's college bully, romantic suspense, but there is no drama between the three guys and their lady. They don't fight over her, they fight for her. They worship her. They're over the top protective in the best way. They share each other in every way. Sometimes it's MF, sometimes MM, sometimes MMFM.
And every minute is glorious. The steam is some of the best I've ever read. You will be all worked up. Trust me.
I'm sad it's over but I will read them all again. I had to turn the pages so fast that I'm sure there is things I missed.
To everyone who chose Kingston for me...I thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You started me on a wicked good path that I'll never regret.
***Edited to add...There's a bonus epilogue you have to download. DO. IT. Do not turn off that kindle until you read the epilogue. It ties the whole series in a dirty, hot bow! [image]

The beautifully written story about two boys navigating life in rural Nebraska. Among the corn and the farms and the tornados, they grow up best friends. Protectors. And maybe more.
It's MM, inclusion, autism, neurodivergent, smalltown, angsty, emotional, pining, childhood love, friends to lovers, parents we wish every child had, a best friend every child deserves, and a love story everyone should read.
My heart was in my thoat for most of the book. For a man who doesn't talk a lot, Ellis says so much. His eyes and his art and his actions speak volumes. Lucky is bigger than life. An adventurer. He wants to see the world but his heart always leads him home.
If you pick up one book I recommend, pick up this one. A love story for the ages about a boy and his firefly, glass, a silo, a windmill, fields of corn, photographs, and a blue boutonniere that changes everything. [image]

Today is release day and well this one...this one will occupy a space in my mind and my heart forever.
I read the prologue. I didn't skip it. My heart was in my throat and it stayed there for most of the book.
And written with a grace that the subject matter deserves. I felt like I was in the book, living the story with Dean. I cried. I messaged the author. I put the book down several times because I didn't want it to end.
Read the trigger warnings. Go in with care. Be ready to feel your heart break into tiny little pieces. It will go back together but it will never be the same. [image]

Five stars for Finn. Five stars for Reese. And five stars for Laura Pavlov.
These brothers and sisters. This town. This family. They make me laugh and cry and stay up until all hours of the night. When I hit the end, I wanted to start right over from the beginning.
These two have been best friends since birth. They grew up together. Shared tragedy together. Supported each other as only the Reynolds men and their ladies can. But they made a pact to never cross the friendship line.
Until now...
Seriously I thought I would combust. The build up, the sexual tension, the sweetness, the goodness, the fire, the trust, the text messages, the gifts, the...everything.
IT. WAS. EVERYTHING.
I have a feeling Cage and Gracie might just break me. [image]
I think Izzy and Nate did it in less than twenty-seven secondTwenty-seven days together in seven years...
Could you fall in love in twenty-seven days?
I think Izzy and Nate did it in less than twenty-seven seconds.
This story, their story, will go down in the books for me. My heart lived outside my body for however many hours I spent reading this one. These two pulled so hard on my heart and my soul. I felt like I was on a ledge the entire time waiting to see if I would fall over or get pulled back. Would they...could they...how?
I had my hopes. I had my wishes. But I know stories, both real and fictional, don't always turn out the way you hoped. But I knew...I knew that whatever happend Izzy and Nate were something special. They found that once in a lifetime kind of love that time, distance, pain, or sorrow can never take away.
I want to tell you everything, but I'm not going to tell you anything.
I don't want to give a detail of this away.
Just when you think an author can'tI want to tell you everything, but I'm not going to tell you anything.
I don't want to give a detail of this away.
Just when you think an author can't get any better, they go and write a book that you just know you are never going to forget.
It's difficult to read at times, but that's where Samantha Christy shines. She can take the most real, most devastating, most traumatizing, most heart bending topics and lay them out bare. Your mind and heart will twist and pull and break until the end.
If you like watching the unredeemable guy redeem himself and the broken girl finally find her happiness, then take the dare. It won't always be easy but it will be worth it. [image]

I've read surprise series books many times. I love them. They're usually light hearted quips about babies, honeymoons, vacations that type of thing. So I had expectations.
Well, let me tell you this book had not one moment I expected. It was fucking brilliant but I won't be telling you a thing about it. I'll share one quote, just one. For me, it says it all. For you, I hope I have convinced you to pick up this series from the beginning. You can't read this one without the rest and it's worth it. So very worth it.
Why??? I have no idea but I will not regret it for one second.
Will I drop everything and read the other two books?I started at the end of the series.
Why??? I have no idea but I will not regret it for one second.
Will I drop everything and read the other two books? Hell yes. The moment I read the last words of this book I downloaded books 1 & 2 and I can guarantee there won't be much sleeping this weekend but so be it.
Jasper...dear God Jasper. He's all deep and introverted and swoony and full of heart...until you get him in the bedroom. I mean, I did not see that coming. He. Is. Everything.
"After all, he's Jasper. The boy with sad eyes and a heart of gold." "Only Jasper Gervais would have a body like a titan, a face like a model, and a cock like a pornstar."
This book hits all those little things you didn't even know you needed. It's small town, hockey, ballet, found family, pulls at the heartstrings, emotional, hot and steamy, friends to lovers (like since they were ten years old), can't put it down goodness.
"Times have changed, Sloane. I'm not scared anymore. You're not my fucking friend. You're just mine."
I don't even know what to say or what to tell you.

Josh pissed me right the hell off...so many times.

I was all in as soon as I read the author's note. Then there was the dedication. And as if that wasn't enough the book starts with a prologue that just about did me in. I was committed. There was no going back.
The feels are deep with every single character and I couldn't get enough.
It's a duet, the story does not finish in this book. You have been warned but I want you to read it anyway. [image]

The man that all other men could be measured against.
I can't go into detail, I won't. This book should be savored and I don't want to tell you how Lily and Atlas' story plays out. All you need to know is read it. I'll be here reading it again.
"Our first kiss was made of fear and youthful inexperience. This kiss is hope...It's everything I've been missing in my adult life, and I am so happy Atlas and I have each other again, I could cry."
I love when I cry but this time I can't tell you why I cried because it would ruin it.

So just know, this book is amazing. All of it. The charaters, the situation, the families, the expected and the unexpected. It's all that and more and quite possibly everything.
You can read this as a standalone but I recommend the whole series so you get to know Tag and Jaxon and Addy and a whole town of amazing side characters before you get to thins one. I seriously hope Addy's book is in the works! [image]

Seriously, this is only one of the moments that will tug at your hearstrings and put a lump in your throat. Bella see things and says things that no six year old should. She has been through a lot in her six years and she steals the show in this story. I mean...I love this kid.
Add in a hot paramedic, a rock star's widow who wants no part of her famous life, and a story of grief, regret, and living your life for today—not giving two fucks what anyone thinks about it and you've got yourself a recipe for a heartbreaking, heartfelt, steamy romance. I started reading and didn't stop until I was crying through the last page.
"Paramedic or not, Logan was born to keep people's hearts beating. He'd brought me back to life without even knowing it."

When your boss not only sees your online porn videos but makes you watch them with him in the boardroom at the office-that's bad. But when you're both turned on by it is that worse or better?
The angst, the sizzle, the chemistry-you will feel it while you're reading.
I've read every Sophia Karlson book and this one just took the top spot. It has it all, age gap, office romance, porn, virginity for auction, cancer, roofies, a dirty talking possessive yet romantic hero and a tough, fight for her family, do whatever it takes heroine, and this urgency to turn the pages and see how it's all going to turn out. What will she do? What will happen?
You're going to love Bryce and Izzy and you aren't going to be able to put this one down. [image]

Well I may need a minute...
I need to tell you a story.
I was so obsessed with this book that I carried my kindle with me all day. Everywhere I went. So I'm sitting in a hair salon with my daughter while she got her haircut, and I start to read about Maddie calling Axel about her car. I guess someone hit her in a parking lot...that sucks you think. But no...all of a sudden I am reading the scene in Axel's garage. In his office. Holy.Shit. The salon got super hot. My face may have been red and I kept looking around, almost laughing, at the outragrous smut I was reading while out in public. Just wait...when you get to the scene, you'll see. Just read this book at home. You'll thank me later.
"Jesus Monster-Dick Christ. I can't decide if I'm excited or terrified."
People...that is this whole damn book. It is smuttastic goodness at every turn. Daddy kink is not even my thing and this book had me squirming. Axel is the epitome of dirty, hot, overbearing alpha with a heart of gold. Did I mention there's a 21 year age gap here and the way they meet is fucking priceless.
"Moral of the story, we make quite the pair. The voluptuous beauty and the burly beast."
Aunt Janet...well I have other words for her. She made me cry so I can't even imagine how Maddie worked her way through that. Thank god for men like Axel...that's all I can say. [image]

"I feel it," he whispers in my ear. "The music. I feel it now."
Lochlan is a good guy. A great guy actually. I mean he is part of the Westbrook 'family.'
"I'm going to own that sass tonight. Then I'm going to spank you so when I reach around to the magical little pussy of yours, I find it sopping."
And he's an alpha, dirty talking, suit wearing, skittle eating hottie.
And Tilly...
"...I love love. Rom-com? Yes, please. Pop songs about heart-stopping love? Hello, Swiftie for life, right here! Pinterest board chock-full of my dream wedding? Check. Check. Check."
God, I love her.
And that's all I'm going to give you because this book is a stay up all night, chick-fil-a for dinner, don't shower (but you can keep reading in the bath!), skip the cleaning, igonore your responsibilities, send your kids to a sleepover kind of book. It's got heart, it's got humor, it's got sex (I mean the good dirty kind), it's got the Westbrook family (and it doesn't get any better than them), it's got the worst ex ever, a visit to the ER, bridesmaids from hell, and skittles (lots of skittles!) "To survive and thrive and to know that our capacity to love doesn't diminish with loss. The single candle can light a thousand more, and we can find our way out of the darkness."
I won't be able to sum this up in words because in reality there are no words for a story this beautiful. A story written through the life, pain, and unthinkable reality of the author. Some of this came directly from the life of Emma Scott. Actual scenes, actual locations. But the important thing to remember when you are reading this book is that is was born from the unimaginable tragedy that was the loss of her beautiful daughter. She talks about her grief and just how low it brought her. She wasn't sure she would ever write again. But then she wrote this story. While the grief comes from different circumstances it is grief all the same. The crushing weight of losing a part of yourself you will never get back. Life changes but it doesn't end for the living left behind. But finding a way out of the grief to the life seems impossible.
"I wasn't there. I wasn't there. I wasn't there."
Asher, Faith, Kal, Momi...they will all need to find their peace. All these characters, including Morgan and Nalani were special and deep and meaningful. Living through the messiness of life starting when Asher and Morgan were kids.
Life is messy. But from the messy comes the most hardfought, soul crushing, lump in your throat, tears streaming down your face love stories. I would have cried during this one no matter what but knowing the grief Emma Scott has risen from to write this story...that's a thing of beauty.
"I keep coming back to the imagery I put in this book-the gold light emanating through gray storm clouds and that pearly beauty that you can't have unless there's been a storm."
When you've read three books, two of which you didn't even finish and one that was just meh, you go back to an author you know. I was frustrated with When you've read three books, two of which you didn't even finish and one that was just meh, you go back to an author you know. I was frustrated with my current reads when I saw an ad for this one. I loved, loved, loved The Last Letter so I had high hopes for this one.
It delivered and then some. Military romance, emotion, pain, grief, and book boyfriend gold.
"Morgan's the long game." "No, Morgan's the endgame."
Morgan's grief is almost insurmountable. Jackson's compassion and understanding and patience is unparalleled.
It's books like this one that keep me reading.
"When Will died, he took my heart...But Jackson...He would take my soul."
