This was a super cute small town romance and had so many things I love in books… single dad, grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, and the cutest kid. I loved the little girl in the book and the hero and heroine were great too, but I never felt the romance. I liked the characters individually but as a couple I never could connect.

As a whole, I’ve enjoyed this series so much. It took me a quick minute to remember who Nora was in relation to the other characters, but Jamie Oakley was unforgettable. I loved them both together. I love the found family in this series. There are so many characters left that could get books… I truly hope this isn’t the last in the series!

I was happy to return to Willow Aster’s ‘Landmark’ world. Theo Landmark is the second youngest of five and the youngest boy. His first love, Sofie, is back in town. She left abruptly when they were teens and it’s been 7-8 years since he’s seen her.
I wondered what could have happened that made Sofie leave and if it would be a good reason. When I found out, I was heartbroken for both Theo and Sofie. This book hits you in the feels. It got me so emotional. But it was also sweet and romantic. I enjoyed it just as much as the first and I’m looking forward to reading more of the Landmark siblings books.

Lachlan is a firefighter and a single dad, and his best friend’s little sister just showed up in his small town. Ainsley is a journalist and is writing a story about Lachlan. She hadn’t seen him in years, and I loved watching them get together.
This book was fun and romantic, and I adored Lachlan’s daughter, Rose, as well as the couple. Lachlan’s teammates were great, and I’m looking forward to reading more in this series!

This is one of those books I have had on my Audible forever and wanted to get to but never did… I’m glad I got to it, I wanted to love it as much as my friends, but it was just okay for me. I loved the heroine, I loved the ending, but the hero and most of the beginning/middle were just alright. I wished I loved it but it was a like for me.

Flaunt was playful and fun and everything I thought a book about Banks Carmichael would be. I enjoyed listening to it and by the end I was completely sold on a Banks/Sara relationship, it just took me a while to get there and feel their connection. Overall I enjoy this series so much, especially the family dynamic.

The Light on Halsey Street follows two friends, Dana and Lisa, through various stages of their lives. It starts out in the summer of ‘85 when they’re both teenagers. Due to their home lives and decisions made, their lives go in completely different directions.
The book picks up later when they’re adults. They’ve not seen each other in many years, but their paths cross again. There was a bit of a twist in this story I didn’t see coming and I liked the way things worked out. I enjoyed this author’s storytelling. It was a great read about friendship, forgiveness, and finding grace for others and yourself.

This book was fun! I’m not going to lie, the first half (maybe even a bit more…) was really slow for me and it took me a while to feel the romance, but the last 30% or so was truly fantastic! Charlie and Gretchen ended up being an unlikely pair, but perfect for one another. And I loved Gretchen and Everett's scenes. They were so funny together. Overall I’m glad I read this one. I enjoyed it!

I’ve read several books by Ashley Poston and A Novel Love Story is my favorite. Magical realism can be hit or miss for me, but the concept of getting stuck in the town where your favorite romance series takes place… well, that concept was too good to pass up.
Elsy has a fairly tight-knit group of book club friends who meet at a cabin in the summer. Something she looks forward to but this year no one can make it but her. At first, she doesn’t think she’ll go, but then she changes her mind. She’s almost there when her car breaks down in the middle of a storm. Elsy ends up in Eloraton, the imaginary small town where her favorite book series occurs.
As book lovers, I’m sure we’ve all daydreamed about ending up in our favorite book, so reading about Elsy experiencing this and meeting her favorite characters was so fun. Then there is Anders. Bookstore owner, a loner/grump, and the only person in town she can’t place. I liked the mystery aspect of Anders and trying to figure out who he was. By the end, I had a decent idea and I was in the right direction at the very least.
I adored Elsy and watching her come into her own and figure her life out. I also liked Anders, mint eyes and all. I wish I had the Kindle version so I could search that word and see how many times she says it LOL. Overall this was sweet, charming, and a lot of fun. The ending was great and I enjoyed it so much!

Matthew Madigan runs a sober living home and Ashley Cooke is trying to save her family’s ski hill. They end up helping each other out, and falling for one another along the way.
