It’s interesting how there’s a discussion in there about how there seem to be a lot of unlikable female MCs in books nowadays. I could not agree more. I know it’s not the main focus of this book but I found Hannah’s earlier decisions to be irresponsible. I get it if you are in your twenties and you wanna chase your dreams and be an artist. Once you have kids though, I feel like your priorities should change. How about get a life insurance? In general I just don’t think it’s a good idea to be financially dependent on someone. She also could have swallowed her pride and ask for help, instead she had her young son sleeping in the car with her. It’s a wonder no one has called child protection on her. Also the romances in this book is too K drama…....more
