I know this book was published in 2024 so it's probably hard to say now if Coben will continue the series, I hope he does. Nevertheless, such a great read and thrillride that had me turning the pages until the very end!

A fun easy trilogy geared towards young adults, a big departure for Harlan Coben. I highly recommend reading them back to back, where each one ends on a cliffhanger!...more

Mickey has been struggling with his father's recent death from a car accident, his mother going into a depression and being checked into rehab for drug addiction, switching to a new High School in New Jersey and is currently living with his Uncle Myron whom he has become estranged with. But things slowly become worse when Mickey's new seemingly perfect girlfriend Ashley has suddenly vanished without a trace. Unwilling to let another person walk out of his life, Mickey retraces Ashley's steps, with the help of his new best friends, sarcastic goth girl Ema, and nerdy but witty hacker Spoon, and the trio find themselves in the midst of the seedy underworld and discover that Ashley was not who everyone thought, nor was Mickey's Father.
An easy, fun, quick mystery read and I love how Harlan Coben takes a different approach with a young adult style series, and focuses more on adolescence and High School drama.
