*If you have not read CAELIAN do not go any further, it must be read first*
When Bella J. concluded Caelian my jaw was on the floor and my heart was a mess. The Prologue for HIS BRIDE, picking up where Caelian concluded, left me feeling exactly the same, heartbroken and with tears. Bella J. certainly knows how to get the emotions flowing early, and she definitely does it in the conclusion to Caelian and Giana's story.
The Del Rossa family is in turmoil, hearts are broken, anger is rife, and yet life must still continue. But how? Caelian and Giana are at loggerheads, even more than before, the tension between them could be cut with a knife. They are both feeling an immeasurable amount of guilt and pain over what has happened, but they are also fighting their own inner demons. While Caelian is hiding his true emotions behind his humour, Giana takes matters into her own hands, which could have disastrous consequences.
This story took me on the proverbial rollercoaster ride of emotions. One minute I was in tears, the next I was in a rage, then suddenly I was laughing out loud at Caelian and Isaia's hilarious back and forth banter. As the suspense builds family loyalties are tested, truths are revealed, and lives are in danger. All through the ongoings Caelian and Giana's chemistry intensifies, their heat sizzles, and their love for each other fours from the pages, but is it a love that has no future? Only time will tell.
Once again Bella J. has delivered a story I couldn't put down. The Del Rossa's have become one of my favourite fictional families, there is never a dull moment with them, and the love they have for each other is boundless. HIS BRIDE was an exceptional read. There is only on Del Rossa left now, Isaia, and I can't wait for his story to be told.
This is the way to start a new series. CONFLICTED is the first entry in Lark Taylor's series"Born to be enemies. Fated to be mates."
WOW! JUST WOW!
This is the way to start a new series. CONFLICTED is the first entry in Lark Taylor's series Hopeless Blessed, and it was an unputdownable and addictive read. A fated mates, forbidden, enemies to lovers, touch him and die, paranormal romance which pulled on all my emotions. The tears started during the Prologue and continued throughout the entire story; such was the power of Lark's beautiful words.
"I need to be loved, dammit. Why is that so much to ask for?"
One is an angel, the other a demon, sworn enemies yet fated mates. The battle of Hell was about to change everything for angel and leader of the Seraphim Micah, especially when a stunning demon catches his eye and tugs on every one of his senses. It cannot be!!! How could fate match an angel and a demon? Despite being enemies, this match was absolutely EVERYTHING, no matter how hard they tried to fight it Micah and Nox were perfect for each other, the angel who had given up on love and the demon who never wanted a mate.
Micah and Nox couldn't have been any more opposite, forbidden, yet the pull to each other is endless as they fight a neverending battle to ignore it. How can you fight something that is predestined .... you can't. I adored the push and pull between them, their incredible banter, the possessiveness, the adoration, their unalive love language (IYKYK), and their heat and chemistry which were both otherworldly. It was their pain and suffering that truly wreaked havoc on my heart, especially everything that Micah had had to endure of the millennia, their absolute determination, once they got their hearts in the right place, to prove that angels and demons could be mates irrespective of any laws forbidding it.
I have loved every book in this amazing world Lark has created, but CONFLICTED has skyrocketed to the top as my favourite, yes, even surpassing Patience which featured Ferry and Leo. It is a story heavy on emtion, complex, but it also had some wonderful lighthearted moments. I loved catching up with characters from Lark's previous book, and meeting all the new characters, some of which already have me intrigued.
If CONFLICTED is an example of the Hopeless Blessed series and how addictive the stories are going to be .... I say, bring them on!
Every woman needs a Harvey in her life and Second Chance love
This was the first book I have read by Aria Hawthorne, and what a book to choose. Harvey Every woman needs a Harvey in her life and Second Chance love
This was the first book I have read by Aria Hawthorne, and what a book to choose. Harvey Zale and Alma Castillo have been divorced for a year, but now they have to do business together. Harvey wants to destroy a property with a priceless Tiffany stained glass window in it and Alma is out to stop him. Harvey has never stopped loving Alma, but how does he show her this and Alma is now realising that she still loves him.
There's a bit of mystery and intrigue thrown into the mix with this story. Harvey and Alma work together to find out who was the creator of the stained glass. Also while they are both renewing their friendship they are also having flirtatious affairs wth other people via text messages. Yes that's right they are sexting with other people - very hot and steamy sexting.
I did enjoy this book and I will definitely be on the look out for more books by Aria Hawthorne.
FOUR STARS happily given.

Pick is the first in KE Osborn's new Recoil Rock Series. It is the story of Danger and Lunar who were also characters in KE's previous series. I love these two and always wanted to know what became of them. I absolutely loved this book, but then again, I have loved all of KE's books.
Danger is a broken man, a man who left the one thing he enoyed doing fo follow his heart to be with his one true love, or so he thought. He returns to his roots, to rebuild his shattered life, and meets Lunar, a woman destined to change his entire world. Lunar works as a stripper in a club owned by the Savages MC, but she is determined to get more out of her life.
Danger and Lunar made the perfect couple. He being a tough, cocky rocker and her being sweet and shy with a little toughness thrown in. The chemistry between the two knows no bounds, especially when the hot and steamy scenes start. The steamy, smoking scenes definitely had me reaching for a fan!!!!
This is a story of two lonely people searching for a love that will bring them peace and harmony in their lives. KE spins her usual magic with this story, but her ability to link it to her other two series about rockers and bikers, is pure brilliance.
I am definitely looking forward to her next book in this series, Plucker.
FIVE STARS rocking solidly on.

I can never find enough superlatives to describe how KE Osborn makes me feel when I read, no experien"Sometimes to survive, you simply have to drown."
I can never find enough superlatives to describe how KE Osborn makes me feel when I read, no experience, her words. ALLURING ABYSS, the fourth and final book in the Royal Bastards MC: Tampa series, was the perfect finale for the characters we met. It was also one of the hardest emotionally. Rafe 'Ominous' Novak and Scarlet 'Red' Lapointe share a heartbreaking tale, and I just wanted to wrap my arms around both.
"I don't deserve to be happy. And honestly, I don't deserve her. Not at all - she's too good for me."
From the very first chapter Ominous' story touched my heart. Here was a strong, caring, and loving man constantly waging war with PTSD, causing him to believe that he didn't deserve what others had in their lives ... happiness. He would always put others ahead of himself, including the one woman who only wanted to love him ... Scarlet. She would have to be my favourite heroine KE Osborn has written. A tough cookie who wasn't afraid to push Ominous or challenge him at every turn, even when he was trying to push her away. He feared for her safety, both from himself and an unknown danger. Scarlet and Ominous shared an electric chemistry and always delivered an undeniable heat when they were together. They shared a "crazy" between them like no other couple.
"You're a little crazy, you know that?" "Yeah, but you like my crazy." "Yeah, Red. I adore your crazy."
There was so much that I enjoyed about this book. The brotherhood of the MC, the friendships between the women, Charli, Ominous' best friend and her adorable daughter Oaklyn, the trust, loyalty, and love that this extended family had for one another. Beneath the shadows danger lurked, one that brought much drama and anxiety, suspense gradually building and revealing a perpetrator who was completely unexpected.
With the ending of this book, KE Osborn brings about the perfect ending to this series. Once again, she promised and delivered a spellbinding story. I cannot wait to see what's next from this amazingly talented author.

S. Massery has re-edited her Fallen Royals series and WICKED DREAMS is the first taste of the re-Riveting & Unputdownable
Talk about a riveting read!!!
S. Massery has re-edited her Fallen Royals series and WICKED DREAMS is the first taste of the re-edits. To say this book was riveting and unputdownable is an understatement, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. WICKED DREAMS is a bully romance, a story about childhood friends who find themselves back at the same school after seven years, but the friendship is dead due to an event that occurred when they were ten years old. This is a dark, intense, gripping read which had my jaw dropping hitting the floor so many times.
Margo Wolfe has spent the last seven years living in the foster care system, her new placement bringing her back to her hometown, and the place she thought she'd never see again, Emery-Rose Elite School. She knew returning wasn't going to be easy, but she never expected to be treated like a pariah and bullied constantly, especially by her one-time childhood friend Caleb Asher, the school's hockey captain. It becomes obvious quickly that he has a deep seeded hatred for her and is going to make her suffer because of the past. The only problem is Margo cannot remember everything that happened seven years ago. Caleb lives to cause Margo pain, he yearns for her suffering, but he's also enarmoured by her and can't leave her alone. He is the epitome of a dark, controlling, flawed alpha. The push and pull between them was intense and kept me glued to the edge of my seat.
WICKED DREAMS is a dark, obsessive, suspenseful read, the style S. Massery excels at. The predator chasing his prey, and I couldn't get enough. After taking in everything Caleb put Margo through, hanging on every word that was written, S. Massery turns around to end on a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers. Talk about being gobsmacked, I did not see that one coming!! WICKED GAMES can't come soon enough.....
Emma Foxx is a new author to me, after reading SOME LIKE IT HOT I am definitely going to go and read the earlier books An entertaining & playful story
Emma Foxx is a new author to me, after reading SOME LIKE IT HOT I am definitely going to go and read the earlier books in her Chicago Racketeers world. SOME LIKE IT HOT was a sizzling, humourous, and playful romance which had me constantly smiling.
What you can expect: ✅ Why Choose MMFM ✅ Fake Dating (With A Twist) ✅ Fake Engagement ✅ Sizzling Heat ✅ Three Delicious Men ✅ One Sassy & Sweet Heroine
Elise Starling is the personification of sunshine, a free-spirited woman who has found herself heavily attracted to three completely different men. Blake Wilder the grumpy hockey player, Simon Armstrong the bossy billionaire, and Aiden Burke the sexy firefighter, all want Elise, but who will she choose? A New Year's Eva party sets in motion a steamy, humourous, and sometimes emotional story which captured my heart and left me wanting more.
Emma Foxx delivered a superb story which explored the different layers found within friendships, relationships, and love. I loved that all the characters were open-minded and honest in regard to what they wanted and needed from each other, both as a group and individually. Although sometimes, I do wish that Elise and Blake were true to their feelings for each other, it would have solved at least one of their problems. The chemistry between all four was palpable, and the sizzle between the sheets was explosive - lucky Elise! The banter was hilarious, the teasing and the joking has me laughing out aloud numerous times, yet when the serious moments arose each individual could be very deep and meaningful. I loved that the three men were protective of Elise, constantly looking out for her. While all three men had their obvious flaws, it made them "human" and that's what I loved about them. I loved that they loved the mess Elise was and the fact that they never tried to change quirky ways. Instead, they encouraged and supported her in her endeavours.
SOME LIKE IT HOT was such an entertaining read. It was playful, humourous, sexy, and often heartfelt. It is romance and love at its best, falling for Elise, Blake, Simon, and Aiden was so easy to do. Their personalities just drew me in and kept me wanting more. Don't forget to get the Bonus Scene, it will leave your heart sighing with joy.
M. Robinson is back to her badassery best with FILTHY MOGUL. As age-gap, anti-hero, boss/empLuke & Duchess = intensity & heat
OMG! OMG!! OH. MY. GOD!!!
M. Robinson is back to her badassery best with FILTHY MOGUL. As age-gap, anti-hero, boss/employee, Latina heroine, dark romance which had non-stop action, scintillating heat, violence, betrayal, and two characters with incredible chemistry. FILTHY MOGUL had me transfixed, on the edge of my seat, and constantly fanning myself. It was so good I couldn't put it down, finishing it in one sitting.
Luke Jameson, yes he's one of those Jameson's, is definitely his father's son, the apple didn't fall far from the tree with him. He's intense, broody, demanding, controlling, ruthless, cold, and doesn't trust others easily. Enter Duchess, a new DJ at one of his clubs, he's instantly drawn to her, wants her, but can he trust her? Duchess is one bada$$ woman!! She's feisty, confident, lethal, and the perfect match for Luke. Their chemistry is insane, their banter intense and honest, and their heat is unbelievably hot. Duchess isn't who she appears to be, and her secrets could destroy the fragile relationship that was building between her and Luke. Duchess's backstory broke my heart, yet it explained everything about her.
FILTHY MOGUL was an incredible read, intense from beginning to end. The twists and turns were jaw dropping, leaving me speechless. Monica has outdone herself. I can't wait for more from her.
Everything Ann Grech writes is touched with gold, and SWEET AS PUCK is another wonderful example. She took me on the prCurves, pucks, and a silver fox
Everything Ann Grech writes is touched with gold, and SWEET AS PUCK is another wonderful example. She took me on the proverbial rollercoaster ride of emotions, I laughed, shed tears, raged, sighed, swooned, and felt my temperature heat up several times. There's nothing I love more than a curvaceous woman and Cara Delaware was simply perfect. Then there was NHL player Alec 'Hux' Huxley, and finally the silver fox Monroe 'Roe' Stevens. A trio of characters who quickly won my heart with their struggles, humour, emotions, honesty, and love.
Cora was such a beautiful soul, she had her aspirations and was determined to achieve them. She had experienced Life's ugly side, yet her effervescent personality just drew me in. A lifetime opportunity to travel with two NHL teams playing exhibition games in Australia, is about to change everything for her. Alec has just experienced the betrayal of his life, he's struggling to come to terms with his new reality. He feels as though he isn't worth loving, yet he has so much love to give, he just needs to find the right person/people. Roe's life was torn apart when a tragedy took both his wife and his son, heartbroken he lost hope of ever finding love again. Meeting his daughter's best friend and then a visiting hockey player enables Roe to reopen his heart and experience love like never before.
While Cara, Alec, and Roe's relationship moves at a quick pace, nothing seems rushed or force, it was the perfect pace for them. I adored that both men idolised and worshipped Cara, they loved her curves, her vivaciousness, the light she brought to their lives. I loved the relationship that developed between Roe and Alec, Roe's bi-awakening was delivered with sentsitivity and caring, it was a natural progression for him. This throuple supplied some wonderful humour, terrific banter, lots of spice (boy, was there spice), plenty of support and encouragement for each other, and a whole lot of love. But what would happen when it was time for Alec to return to the US? Will Cara and Roe remain in Australia, will they join Alec in the US, or will they endeavour to have a long distance relationship?
Ann Grech has been a 'go-to' author of mine for a while now, and SWEET AS PUCK is just another reason why I love her stories. She combines sweet and spice perfectly, her characters all have flaws, yet I can't help but love them, her humour is always spot on, and there is always next to no angst. I can't wait to see what she comes up with in future stories in this series.
A highly recommended read for lovers of beautiful romances.

Midnight Manor, P. Rayne's dark romance series based on fairytale retellings, has been a wonderful red, and sadlDefinitely NOT Disney's Little Mermaid
Midnight Manor, P. Rayne's dark romance series based on fairytale retellings, has been a wonderful red, and sadly it has come to a close. TWISTED TRUTHS, the fourth and final installment, is a retelling of The Little Mermaid and it's definitely NOT the Disney version. This is a spicy, boss/employee, billionaire, age gap, opposites attract, touch her and die dark romance which held me totally spellbound.
Obsidian Voss is the last Voss brother standing. He's watched his three brothers find love, yet he believes it will be the one thing that will elude him. He's a complex man who wears many faces: a loving brother, a savvy businessman, and a broody man who has a penchant for darkness and danger. He's built so many walls around himself that breaking through them is going to take someone extremely special. Ariana Clarke is young, sweet, and a perceived innocence about her. She has left the only life she knows, and her family, to begin over. She wants nothing to do with her past, but sometimes the past has too tight a hold.
I can't say how much I loved Obsidian and Ariana, they perfectly complemented each other, she was the light slowly invading Obsidian's darkness. While their initial meeting was life altering, it was their second meeting which really changed their lives. I adored watching Ariana slowly chip away at Obsidian's walls, she brought out a lightheartedness he had long buried away. His possessive, obsessive, and jealousy emerge, he's falling for Ariana, but does she feel the same? Ariana is hiding a dark secret, one that could destroy her developing relationship with Obsidian, her inner battle often tearing her apart.
TWISTED TRUTHS was an incredible read. Obsidian and Ariana were such wonderful characters, their chemistry was explosive, their passion and heat was full of fire, Obsidian was positively swoonworthy and Ariana was a sweet, sassy little vixen. They were two pieces of one heart. Their journey was one of trust, redemption, acceptance, and self-discovery. It was a hand on your heart, sigh filled, heat inducing unputdownable read. P. Rayne saved the best for last. Highly recommended.
S. Massery has delivered a bully hockey romance which is extremely DARK. If you have triggers take noteDark, intense, addictive
All I can say is WOW!!!
S. Massery has delivered a bully hockey romance which is extremely DARK. If you have triggers take note of the ones for this book, as it may not be for you.
For me, THE PUCKING COACH'S DAUGHTER was an addictive, captivating, fast paced, action filled, intense, passionate, suspenseful, and emotional read which I found extremely hard to put down. This book was right up my alley, I LOVED it. It is a dark, RH/Why Choose, hockey, bully, off limits, rival schools read which features stalking, self-harm, betrayal, revenge, torture, violence, and some very vivid graphic scenes.
Sydney Windsor is your typical college student, until she makes a huge mistake - taking pictures of the gamebook which belongs the rival school's hockey team. That wasn't the worse part, giving them to her ex-boyfriend, Carter Masters, captain of her school's hockey team was. A life altering decision that leads to betrayal, expulsion, and attending that rival school where her estranged father is the hockey coach. This is where the book really takes off, the bullying begins, and where Sydney finds herself the brunt of everything that makes her life unbearable. It is also where she catches the eye of two of the hockey team's players, captain Oliver Ruiz and Penn Walker.
Three hockey players, Carter, Oliver, and Penn are all obsessed with Sydney. One who tries to protect her, in his own bizarre way, and two who want nothing more than to ruin her life. Stalking, harassing, tormenting, nothing is over the top for these players, strangely though, they are also protective of her. Don't get me wrong, these three guys do some abysmal things, condone some of what others do, betray trust that they've been given, but they also fulfill the needs and desires Sydney has, no matter how dark and kinky those needs are.
I can't say any more, I don't want to ruin this amazing, yet thoroughly disturbing story. S. Massey's words were sheer perfection, flawless, and flowed effortlessly. The emotions displayed throughout were heartbreaking, understandable, and completely warranted for everything that was experienced. Sydney went through some horrific events, yet she had an incredible strength and resilience, even when she was falling apart. The three guys, ok I'll be honest, there were times I despised them for their words and their actions, but for some strange reason they also found a way into my heart.
THE PUCKING COACH'S DAUGHTER is an ABSOLUTE MUST READ for lovers of the dark side. It is a book to be devoured, the suspense will draw you in and hold you there until the final word. S. Massery has once again proven herself a genius.
