My interpretation of the book: (view spoiler)[Jude Duarte, a human living in a world with faeries longs to be a knight, but her father forbids her. Her desperation to fit in wells up as Prince Carden and his evil friends continuously bullies her.
But Jude soon realises that life is more than just fitting in. Even in the majestic life in the world of Faes, betrayal, assassination and plots looms and pounce at any chance. Now Jude is to save the Court from a wicked and blood-thristy ruler.
This means giving up her dreams and being forced to work alongside with her enemy. In her journey, she faces grave danger, heartbreaks, trembling deaths and the things that make the reality of life. (hide spoiler)]
I still can't get over how good that book was! I was instantly transported to the world of Faes, fighting my way along with Jude.
But they have tails. That's the downside. Urghhhh.
Overall, The Cruel Prince was a life changing read filled with all the wonders of action, hate, love, death, sacrifice and bliss!!

Gotta admit, it was a little DARK. Who am I kidding? It was REALLY DARK!!
It's okay. It was a good type of dark. Like the Hunger Games dark.
My interpretation of the book: (view spoiler)[Cinder is a cyborg that lives among the crowd of humans and androids in the rowdy dense streets of New Beijing. Ever since Prince Kai visited her Mechanical shop, Cinder's life changes. Caught between love, honour, betrayal and duty, Cinder has to determine where to put her loyalty.
What makes it worst is that there is a deadly plague, and her stepsister gets it. Due to her stepmother's blame, Cinder involuntarily volunteers for the testing for a cure. But she soon discovers that she is immune to the plague. Along with the discovery of her immunity, she also learns that she's a Lunar. The enemy of Eartherns. Now Cinder has to discover about her past to save the one she loves. The Earth's survival depended on her. (hide spoiler)]
I KNEW IT! (view spoiler)[From the moment the book mentioned Princess Selene, I had suspicions that she had to be Cinder. I just knew it! AHHHRRRGGGHHH (hide spoiler)]...more

I really don't want to write a review on this book because that means I finished reading the last book in the Medoran Chronicles. But hey, forever and always this series will be one of my favourites. And there's always a thing called re-read. Right?
I really love the cover. It's so mystifying and it gives me a feeling that I cannot describe. I also loved the acknowledgement. Very entertaining.
I have to say, this book was way too intense. But it was great that way. I'm really going to miss Alex and her friends. I hope Lynette Noni thinks of writing another book that's related to Medora!
Medora is a somewhere I want to visit. It's my favourite world!...more
