You're probably not supposed to admit that the movie made of this book is one of your favorites...so I won't. I enjoy everything written by Mrs. Gaskell and this is one is, I believe, the best. A truly delightful story of romance, sibling and parental relationships, and set in a most lovely time and place. Best read while drinking a "proper" cup of tea. ...more
