This is the first time I have read anything by this author and I am curious at how the series will develop. For one the main characters happen to know each other extremely well and both actually have crushes on each other, but who knew! Keeping it professional is mandatory!
It’s fun to watch them slowly come in to the realization that they could and would be a great fit and are actually perfect for each other.
While we know about her heated crush since she was a teenager, it seemed a bit abrupt with Garth’s realization or admittance of the fact he has been infatuated for years. But once he admitted it to himself and opened that door, he became very upfront and embraced a seemingly short relationship with Regan.
The Wife He Needs is easy to read with minimal angst! Just missing that special touch and better flow in some spots.
With a fabulous exotic locale we get to experience plus some hot and spicy connections between the two, this story is perfect to warm us up on a chilly winter’s day.

Fun fake date trope but her sisters are jerks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The easiest way to review this anthology is to break it into two pieces.
The first book, Just a Few Fake Kisses, is by Lee and it is a part of a series, but definitely can be read as a standalone.
Lee is well known for her contemporary romance stories, and she delivers a winner with this interesting setup. I don’t think I’ve read, but maybe two or three books with musical artists as the lead so it was a very interesting storyline.
In this book, a schoolgirl crush turns into an intense and heated romance. They both have issues to overcome, especially Anthony, who is wrestling with guilt and old memories. I loved them together, but he didn’t always treat her right.
This book also left a few questions in my mind in terms of Chloe’s future. A lot of the ending was devoted to Anthony, but kind of left her out in terms of her brilliant future. That bothered me.
Overall a great story, and I love the heat and spice the author was not shy about including. 3 Stars ~~~~~~~ The second book, The True Love Experiment, is by Marsh. This is the first time I’ve read this author and I completely fell in love with it her writing.
Her story was smart and witty. Breaking through the grumpy male lead character and finding his inner feelings was crazy. What a tough nut to crack.
I love the fact that they completed each other so well, but still definitely struggled in terms of communication for fear of ruining their friendship.
The author brought us a unique story that was a slow burn and had some heat but was not over the top for those readers that like it a little milder.
One thing that bothered me is, I could not stand Wren’s family. I thought they were rude and insensitive, and that to me was a huge hangup.
Marsh is an author I will look for again and hope to continue to read her wonderful romance stories. 4 STARS
Together these two balance out each other well. It’s fun to have two completely different stories on the same cover that is long enough to enjoy a complete romance without missing any other details.

Totally creepy with plenty of twists. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This book was not what I was expecting at all. But I absolutely love reading stories that are so different than what the synopsis tries to tell us.
The author did a marvelous job weaving a story with so many little threads and hints of what was happening nd a foreshadowing of what was to come. I truly did not figure out anything until the ending. I was just absorbed in the storytelling.
The story is completely unique. I’m obviously not a expert in the writings of authors that tie witchcraft into their story. But I love the psychological build up and the bits and pieces that drop along the way that build into those suspenseful thrills we love.
The conclusion was unexpected but also very fitting. Those secrets eventually come out and get you!
There was several areas in this book that are definitely creepy. A lot of my updates I posted as I was reading it use that word specifically. But it’s also somewhat of a nod to the history of the eastern states. Stories that get passed from generation to generation fuel this novel.
Unique, engrossing, dark, and definitely a bit ominous! Loved this story!

I also love that we get a taste of Insta-love. Sometimes that just hits the spot. Nothing heavy to think about and we can go with the flow. The author took her time and built the main characters a wonderful basis for a long-lasting relationship.
What was great was that the characters took the time to learn about each other through activities and enjoy the amazing location the author brought us. It’s a location you dream of – mostly a private island with pristine beaches, beautiful weather, solitude, and a deliciously hot guy walking out of the ocean. Bliss!

Struggles with grief and secrets that no one knows is key in this story. Regardless of the age of the character, everyone will connect with the turmoil going on inside. But Morgan brings in light and love that not only uplifts the characters but you as well.
The Summer Swap tells the story of three different women who are interconnected dealing with family, marriage, and healing, along with healthy doses of clean romance wrapped up in a captivating story.
Even with some heavy topics, Morgan manages to keep the story light-hearted and sweet, especially in the last half of the book. I love that age is no blockade to happiness and giving yourself what you deserve. I love the overall message in this story.

I did not read any prior stories and while the story was enjoyable, I know I was missing things.
I enjoyed the character development in Hotshot Hero for The Holidays. The author has two solid leads balancing each other. Their forced proximity caused all sorts of sparks and heat. They created their own combustion and it was steamy in many parts.
This story is loaded with twists, action, and suspense, and the author added many points of view to the story. This did cause a bit of confusion here and there. Plus, without knowledge of some of the other characters that were popping in from other stories, it did take a bit to get back into the flow of the story every so often. Some areas felt a bit jumpy in the story to me.

This author takes a cliché type of romance and explodes it into a delightful story that will leave you smiling right along with the main characters.
A perfect blend of girlfriends and femininity, hard work and puppies, not to mention a hunky adversary brave enough to drink wedding cake martinis and recognize love when he feels it. Marry & Bright is a delightful story that celebrates romance at Christmas in a magical heartwarming way.
The story is sweet and over-the-top romantic, which just made my heart sing. Wilson delivers a wonderful Christmas romance sure to grab your heartstrings too. ~~~~~~

Great plot! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There’s just something about a good cowboy romance especially when it also blends in the veteran or military officer aspect. This book offers a great tie-in with both aspects.
A strong, steamy, muscular cowboy is our leading man, and I can totally get down with that! This author knows how to write and create such a dreamy specimen.
I love the connection between the two main characters. The plot was realistic, and she totally brought it to life on the pages.
One of the great things about this cowboy romance is the locale, and when you have an author who can describe in detail a picture-perfect setting, it truly enhances the entire story.
Secondary characters were awesome as well, and I can see where there’s definitely going to be another story spun off of this one with a single brother and his steamy character.
Overall, Heart Like a Cowboy is a wonderful read with a sweet romance, hot cowboys, and a happily ever after we love.

There are not a whole lot of authors that write in this genre, so I was pleased to see this one.
I have to say, I really enjoyed the plot and the characters. Especially the dogs!
Being in witness protection isn’t ever perfect and this plot develops plenty of suspense along the chase. The badassery of both of the main characters keeps you on the edge of your seat many times during the story. Some things you do expect, but there are several surprises along the way.
The main characters worked great together and I love how the author incorporated the dogs into the story. Stover also developed other secondary characters that were strong and well-rounded to create a depth and flow that made it very tough to stop reading.
I’m definitely going to check out Stover for more books in this genre as it is one of my favorites. Defending the Witness is a really good read with a lot of detail and excitement that will have you holding your breath for a time or two. It offers loads of suspense, great twists, clean romance, and a lovely ending. But Heads Up - there is some violence that may be a bit gruesome!

It took me more than 50% of the book to settle in and really appreciate the story, the people, and the atmosphere.
As a Midwestern grown Minnesotan myself, I could really relate to the descriptive scenery and the down-home small-town feel that the author delivers in an astute and delightful manner. It really made me homesick for the small-town ways and the down-home history!
The characters, plus the unique manner in which Shipman is able to imagine and tell the story, really allow you to feel that Americana vibe and build appreciation for the story. Take your time, read it slowly, and feel the way the words blend to craft this delightful book. A perfect summer story that leaves your soul a bit happier all around the edges, just like a warm hug!

This one started off 3.5 stars ~~~~~~~~~~ I like the format of this book. It was interesting and reminds me of larger anthologies I’ve read in the past.
This one started off great with getting to know the four guys and the four girls which each will eventually break off into their own story and romance.
This first book laid out the overall story and plot, and then we were drawn into the romance portion. Personalities are definitely in play here. Each of the characters has detailed personalities that blend or clash with the others. They offer strengths and weaknesses that are vital to the outcome of the stories. The romantic connections between the guys and other lead characters are dependent on their personalities and play a strong part in the plot.
Each of the authors has offered twists to their story but each also has a recurring theme that runs throughout the book. The individual stories are fun and a bit heated in the romance department. It is funny how you connect with particular characters just through a turn of a phrase and description. I definitely had my favorites and not-so-favorites.
Overall, The Comeback Cowboy offers a great summer read with well-developed characters, personal growth, developing friendships, and steamy encounters. Fun and different.

Repetitive but decent. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have to say I am actually a little surprised at this book. As I mentioned, I have never read a Palmer story before, so I was really not sure what to expect.
The theme is engaging and offers an interesting story with a few good twists. What I did not anticipate was the clear need for better editing in this book. We run into a lot of repetitive conversations, sequences with conversations that don’t fit right, and this story is missing the spark and the fire that a good romance should lead us into.
There are parts of this book I truly enjoyed but some of it was just pure editing issues that would’ve made the flow a lot smoother. Thankfully, the second half of the book picked up, flowed better, and became easier to enjoy. The main and secondary characters offer a good dynamic to the book and set up additional areas for more stories to come.
Unfortunately, I did not really feel a connection between the two main characters until close to the end which is sad as overall it was a good story. I just need more of the emotional connection and imagination to draw me into the book.

There are so many pluses that McCoy gave us with this rom-com.
First off, two love interests? Yes, why not!
Oh, but how to find the right man for your heart is exactly what Zora is dealing with. A dreamboat who is not all he appears to be and his best friend, who did not make good first impressions, and is not all he seems to be. What a quandary to be in but we walk with her as she dates and dives into truths and untruths along the way.
Surrounding Zora is her grandmother who is absolutely a delight but a bit obsessive with grandbabies. And a fabulous friend and co-worker in Emma, who is definitely a trip and grabs the scene over and over.
McCoy does not shy away from the heat and steam in this one. I love the openness and unashamed acceptance for dating whomever she pleases.
One thing that is questionable and absolutely backfired was the tension and issues between the two men. That should have been something Zora stayed out of instead of stirring the pot. There were other red flags that everyone needs to look for as well in the dating scene to help you choose the right person.
Zora Books Her Happy Ever After is fun, enlightening, steamy, and educational, offering a different twist to the typical romance story we normally find.

One thing that did get to me is the title. I really feel it is not the best choice for all that this book offers. In fact, I would not have chosen it had it not been written by Crews…
Overall, I loved The Christmas He Claimed the Secretary! I enjoyed the wicked sense of humor and the level of steam. Then Crews finishes this off with a fabulous ending that levels this one up!

Daniels creates an intriguing story that is different from any other stories in this genre I have read previously. With some mean and creepy characters and a few unexpected turns, you are easily enveloped in this story from page one.
While this is a shorter story, it is a sweet, clean cowboy Christmas romance that is truly enjoyable. This story could be a part of a two-book publication as well. Some publications include Christmas Ransom and Cardwell Ranch Trespasser. Either way, we get a bit of everything in this book. Romance, Christmas, Intrigue, yummy cowboys, and a delightful ending that leaves hope for the future.

Physical and emotional scars do take some perseverance to break through and Thayne dives in with some fabulous characters that elevate this story by knowing how to deal with the pain and anger and coming out with deep feelings and happiness.
Do you love warm and fuzzy feels in your story? All Is Bright is a wonderful small-town Christmas story with that cozy vibe where everyone knows everyone. It is a part of a series, but I did not feel lost and you quickly figured out who belongs to whom.
Although there are a lot of characters to try and keep track of you are always brought back to the main few.
When a grumpy single guy trying to find his way after multiple tragedies and a beautiful yet ambitious architect who knows just how to handle him figure it all out, sparks start to fly and the smiles get bigger. This story shows us that buried under the pain and hurt we have, good people are still inside.
We also get a separate treat with a second romance that seals the deal for this wholesome Christmas romance. Just the perfect story to kick off your holiday reading! Thayne is a romance writer like none other!

This story gave me all of the feels. The author added so much to this crazy family story. She captured it all perfectly with all of the chaos. Grandma saying whatever she wants. People are on edge trying not to spill secrets. It all sounds so familiar! I have even been the outsider at someone’s Christmas day celebration, so I get that one… Never again!
You can easily visualize everything! Morgan captures the beauty of the setting and the slightly imperfect family Christmas story with love on the horizon!

Whisler does just that in this series with a collection of characters that have felt helpless, torment, and other deep feelings that no one wants to know about. However, in this story, there are people that want to know and help others.
Tabitha and Chris are complex people with deep-seated, raw feelings and emotions that we can only imagine through the author’s words. Whisler paints a picture of growing trust, believing in yourself, healing, friendship, and a romance that warms the heart.
Becoming Family is a wonderful tale that envelops the quiet support of many characters and a delightful ending that leaves you smiling.
