It's so cool how the author weaves her stories and I get the chance to spend time with some of my favorite characters from other books. I won't mention all of them, but I've gotta give a shout out to my man Savage for keeping me entertained, he's my favorite from Walker Security. Probably because he has no filter.
A Wicked Song has an endless supply of suspense and passion, the secrets and sexy times alone were enough to keep me turning the pages. It's got more than that, though. I'm a big fan of music-themed stories and I really enjoyed this one. The author teased me to within an inch of my life with all the exciting secrets and suspense. I'm sooooo curious! And Kace, lawdy, that man is so delicious. At the beginning of the book, the author shares her muse and I googled him. I kept that delicious image in my head throughout...sigh. ♡

As the author let me see into her past, introducing me to her demons, I fell even harder for Kody. She's had a rough life and had to fight for everything she has, and she's still fighting to keep her bar, the Barn. When the man that left and took her heart with him comes back to town to investigate her father's death all those feelings she managed to bury deep resurfaced. "From the start I never knew what to do with the heat Hill brought with him when he crept into my thoughts."
I loved the sexual tension that built as these two came face-to-face with their feelings for one another. I was afraid my Kindle might burst into flames while I waited for them to get past their...past. Before, she'd been off-limits, but now...game on. Let's just say all that waiting and wanting builds up over time and when it finally gets released...you might need to stick your head in the freezer, just sayin'.

Finally, I got to spend a little quality time with Rick Savage...sigh. ♥ I met him already, in another amazing story penned by the author, and it was love at first sarcastic comeback. He had me giggling and needing to know his secrets. I've also been dying to meet the woman that can handle the savage that I knew he would be in the bedroom before I actually got to read about it. Yeah, he did make that big of a first impression on me.
I knew he'd be broken. I'm drawn to characters that are damaged, I can't resist seeing their broken pieces put back together when they find the right person. It's somehow more satisfying when they have to work so hard for it. Don't you think? But don't assume he's weak because of it. Nope, Savage is what they call him in spite of it being his last name, because it fits him. He lives up to it. Even when he's with her.
She's seen the softer side of him like nobody else. She thought he loved her. She thought they were forever. Until she got the letter that started with Dear... Yup, one of those. I have a love/hate relationship with the author, Michelle Mankin. I love her stories and I hate it when I have to wait for the next one. That is especially true in this case. This installment of the Rock F*ck Club is a short interlude that will get your juices flowing and leave you feeling like the literary groupie you probably are if you enjoy rockstar romance as much as I do.
Marsha is the one that started the #GirlPower ball rolling with her video that received so much attention that RFC was born. She never thought that she would get to do more than be behind the camera. As I stated in my review of the previous book in this series, if I hadn't seen the cover I wouldn't have believed that this book was written by three different authors, the flow is totally seamless. When I started reading The Chase it was like I'd just turned the last page of The Choice yesterday. I was all-in, immediately.
There are so many reasons why this threesome shouldn't work. They are all guilty of keeping secrets. They are all broken and struggle with allowing themselves to risk their hearts. I hate to break it to them, but I think it's already too late for that. As the story is told in multiple POV's, I've enjoyed being inside their heads as they navigate the bumpy road to what they all want. Though I must tell you, until they think it I don't know it either. So, their secrets were safe from me as well until they decided to let me in. Leia had me giggling immediately with her sass and lack of filter. She is 100% real and doesn't hold back. I kinda think that's what attracted Oliver as well. He's so used to brown-nosing, bowing and scraping that he never knows what's real. She's real...but off-limits.
The forbidden aspect of this story kept me anxious and worried about Oliver and Leia. I wanted them to have a chance to explore their attraction for each other. But, damn, what a crock of chaos they had to avoid to even get a few minutes together. You'd think the fear of discovery would make it not worth the risk. But that's only because you haven't felt their chemistry. Yeah, just getting them in the same room together had sparks flying between them that even I felt. I can understand how all the details would get lost in their brain fuzz at being together.

I adore the way the author writes her male heroes, she taps into their pain and their hearts in a way that I feel what they do. They have honor and integrity and they treat women as treasures. Wolf is no different. He sees Rose and knows he wants her, if only he can convince her to give him a chance.
While it's usually the Borderline Freaks MC members that have me swooning, this time I fell hard for Rose. Not that Wolf isn't all that...he is. But, she's badass too! She's got secrets and a good reason for her actions. Just wait until you find out. You're gonna be girl-crushing too!
And did I mention he's a single dad? Yeah, a sexy biker with a baby girl, even though she's not a baby, she'll always be his. He's hard when he needs to be and when he's soft...sigh.♥

Are you ready for my one-word description of the instant connection between a badass biker and the angel who saved his life? SWEET. I know, not what you were expecting, right? But, damn. His first glimpse of her makes the scary biker speak with soft words and heartfelt emotion.
I was a goner for him from the get-go. If I was Talia, I'd be saving him too...for myself. That is if I could concentrate on medical lifesaving procedures while swooning....sigh.
Oh yeah, I guess I should tell you about the danger too, huh? That's how this story ended up being a crossover. There are bad guys out there doing so much damage that the good guys (as good as an outlaw motorcycle club can be) are supporting each other. I can't help smiling, even during the suspenseful scenes, when one of my favorite characters show up.

This Naked Trilogy is an adrenaline rush of secrets and suspense. I don't know who to trust, but like her, I believe that Jax is just too delicious to give up and worth the risk to our health. They are both keeping things to themselves that I look forward to learning eventually. But, what they aren't being stingy with is the'naked time' for which I'm thankful. Their connection is intense, especially since "Everything about this man is a whole lot better than good. Except, of course, the hate between our families." They have every reason to avoid each other like the plague...but they can't.
I'm having the best time trying to unravel the mystery while being fully entertained along the way. Waiting for Two Together has me bouncing with excitement. I have questions that need answers. One thing that is very clear is that Naz and Eva are deeply in love. Unfortunately, that doesn't solve all the world's problems as advertised. Trouble is chasing them and it's not looking good. "There's only so much pain a heart can take before it breaks for good."

Where the hell have I been? How did I miss reading this author's work before now? I can't find the words to tell you how much I loved her writing in Sing to Me. I'm going full-on #FanGirl moving forward so she better prepare to be stalked, I won't risk missing out in the future.

from start to finish without realizing it was a trilogy. You should have seen my face when I got to the last page and tried to turn it, repeatedly. Yeah, I'm sure it was funny. Dont' get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I loved every word. I could smell the campfire and taste the marshmallow on the end of my stick. I enjoyed the hell out of being at summer camp. I was very entertained by the colorful support characters. I felt the sexual tension between the sworn enemies and couldn't wait for them to give in to their lust.

Once I turned the first page I was in for the duration, out of commission, unavailable to everyone. I devoured this story knowing it was only the first book in the series, knowing I wouldn't get all the answers to the questions bouncing around my head. I was right, but I wouldn't change a thing. I enjoyed the hell out of it and I can't wait to read Fall to You.
I tried to feel sorry for her, but the truth was that I was kinda jealous that she went to sleep and woke up with everything she ever wanted, including a thin body minus the hunger pains. But, that only lasted a few chapters. When I realized how much it must suck to have a big black hole where your memories used to be I changed my mind. I tend to question everything and I would not have just been able to accept the obvious, I would have to dig deeper.
When people and secrets started popping up it became obvious that there was more to her past than she was aware of. I was hanging on the edge of my seat as this installment closed with a jaw-dropping revelation that has me shaking with excitement. What a ride!...more

Well, damn. I'm struck speechless as I sit here trying to find my words to share with you how this story made me feel. I've been very excited to dig into Hollie's history and get a taste of her life behind the scenes and in front of the camera. I'd already met both Max and Diesel, and I wouldn't kick either out of bed. So, the possibilities were endless and thrilling to anticipate.
After being with Hollie and her sister, Fanny, as they struggled to survive on the streets after running from their stepfather I felt close to them. We kinda bonded in my mind, ya know? I felt so bad for them after what they suffered and wanted them both to find love and happiness. Hollie is only eighteen years old with so much life ahead of her and so much pain not quite behind her yet. Before that could happen she would have to deal with the devil and face her fears. Fortunately, she has Max to support and protect her. He makes her feel safe and cherished. He makes her want him. Max wants her to let him in. He wants her everything. But, he has secrets of his own.
Diesel is an arrogant manwhore. But, I don't think he lies about the skills he brags about. Am I the only one that wants to find out if he's as good as he claims to be? The chemistry between him and Hollie is intense. They rub each other the right way. Though, that's not something that she intends to explore. His reputation precedes him and she's not looking to be a notch on his bedpost. But that doesn't mean she doesn't feel the heat of his stare or the promise of satisfaction if she gave in to the lust he doesn't bother to hide.
High Tide made me consider and feel things I wasn't expecting. I started with deep feelings of rage toward the asshole stepfather and it only got worse as the story progressed. I became suspicious of everyone, especially when the paparazzi were involved and every detail found a way to the media. When said asshole has so much money and power, can anyone be trusted?
The deeper I get into this story the more I find myself in danger of needing a tinfoil hat to keep my secrets safe. Just kidding, but really, the suspense is addictive in the best of ways. I'm really enjoying this duet and can't wait to get my hands on Island Side. The line forms here......more

I'm on a roll this month, trying new-to-me authors. The title and synopsis of this book intrigued me...forbidden...I heard her sing...a tangled web. Yup, I was too curious to pass it up and I'm so glad that I gave it a chance. I'll be adding this author to my #2Bstalked list.
Things moved very quickly at the beginning and I had steam coming out of my ears and my Kindle was in danger of being thrown against the wall almost immediately once I learned why Rissa was facing homelessness. She struggled with the decision, but really, when faced with a choice between sexy Zack and being homeless, what would you do? Yup, no hesitation there. Zack, please.
Zack was her knight in tattooed and pierced armor. He showed up right when she needed him the most and swept in to make her problems disappear, at least temporarily. She didn't mean to deceive him. Things were just so out of control that everything happened before she could gather her wits and make smart choices. She was riding a wave of pain and loss and helplessness. He offered comfort in her time of crisis. She would worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.
Tomorrow came all too soon and the secret she was hiding stressed me out as much as it did her. Being inside her head turned me into a nervous wreck as I kept expecting everything to blow up with each page turn. As she fell for Zack, so did I. Then I worried even more.
I'm a music lover and I really loved that aspect of this story. Not only the character's talent but the interactive links that allowed me to click and listen. The series is a duet so I knew going in that book one would not give me closure, and of course, it ends on a cliffhanger. We'll have to read Tattooed Souls to get our answers.
