As always, we have a delightful cast of characters. And the main characters don’t even meet until the story is about 3/4 finished. The majority of their interactions take place under the windshield wiper of a car. No joke…it is brilliant and so romantic.
I’m really beginning to like Liz Maverick’s writing. And the narration by Rosenberg and Eiden is perfect for this Audible Original rom-com.

Two people living on opposite coasts are suffering the fallout from being dumped by their big time crushes. He lives in NYC and has walked away from social media and seems sad all the time. She lives in LA working for a successful toy firm and fell in love with the boss’ son. Then, he dumped her. She decides it is time to get as far away from California and does a temporary house swap in NYC. The two meet on a front stoop and the tale begins.

Questions raised include: Medically necessary treatments. Parent-led Eugenics Society. Long-term effects of drugs/treatments so new that we have no idea what effects these treatments can have on a child 20 years from now.
