This book is exactly what it sounds like in that the FMC ultimately chooses the bear and is better off for it.
It is fun, steamy and a bit kooky but it was a good time. I definitely recommend if you are into shifter books.

I will say IThis is a pretty typical high school bully, reverse harem romance but the FMC is blind even though she doesn't act like it half the time. I will say I was hooked at the beginning of this book and the initial meeting between Fergie and Cassius. I was like whaaaaatttt??? From there it kind of took a step back, which was fine. I did get a bit annoyed after a while with how all of the boys acted and thought they were OTT especially for high school kids. I know I haven't been in high school in a while but I can't even fathom half of this stuff happening and so I keep reminding myself that it's fiction.
As far as the narrators go, the FMC's narration was done well and was my favorite of the 4. Victor's and Torsten's characters were also done well, but for Cassius, I just didn't care for the cadence of the narrator. The voice was good, but he spoke in sentences that didn't really flow and didn't feel like normal dialogue. The pauses between sentences were slightly too long like he was reading one sentence at a time.
Overall this was an entertaining story but I don't think I'll be reading the rest of the series because it seemed a bit cliche for me and didn't stand out compared to other similar books I have read but it was fun enough to finish.

I really enjoyed the audio narration done by Jacqui Bardelang and I really think that made the book more enjoyable for me. I will say the whole cover up for murder thing was completely unbelievable and I didn't know how they were going to make it work but it does work out eventually. I think this book could have existed solely as a rom-com if you removed the murder entirely but then I guess there would have to be another conflict in it's place. I wasn't 100% on board with how the murder and cover up were handled, but it did add a some intrigue to the story. Overall, I was impressed with this book and I'm looking forward to seeing more from this author in the future.

Wow, this book hit hard and I loved every second of it. So much trauma and healing and I loved Bohdi and Brayden. One thing I did NOT love is all the weird names. I give authors 1-2 weird names before I start eye rolling and this book exceeded those limits but I forgive them because this book was heartbreakingly sweet. IDK why PS Black has to tear my heart to shreds like this but the healing is worth it. Not only is this book sweet but it is seductive and sad and swoony. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.
The author's note at the beginning of this book states "This is an interconnected standalone. To get a better back story for Bohdi, I suggest reading the Lost & Found Duet. However, this is not a requirement." I wholly agree with this statement. No, you don't need to read it but it gives so much backstory and character to Bohdi.

It is sultry and sweet and sassy. Stone, former playboy needs a break from his reality and decides to sail to the Caribbean for 10 days to work on himself but when he finds his brother's ex girlfriend on his boat, what is he to do.
Tinsley is hiding out from the press and the rest of the world so she convinces Stone that she should sail with him.
They both agree to keep to themselves during their trip, but that is nearly impossible on a boat and the more time they spend together, the more they want to spend together which leads to attraction and more. What will happen when their trip is over and reality comes crashing back.
I was so drawn into this story and really enjoyed the characters. The steamy scenes were off the charts and I was sweating and fanning myself just reading them. I really appreciate how the author paces the story to keep you guessing as to how they are going to end up at an HEA but inevitably they do and I loved it.
Now, where can I find a sweet, billionaire, tattooed, pierced, doctor that is obsessed with me to marry?
Jason Clarke does a phenomenal job of narrating Stone's character and Andi Arndt does wonderfully with Tinsley's character. I can hear the emotion in their voices and they bring life to the characters.

While I had not read the first two books in this series, I don't really think it's all that necessary as this is considered an interconnected standalone (as far as I know). Tami has a way of telling a story that draws you in and you just feel like you are living in her world. This is a pretty straight forward murder mystery but there are plenty of leads that take you down a rabbit hole with plenty of interesting characters. Nick and Annie are wonderful characters and I enjoyed spending time with them.
Audio narration by Hillary Huber was wonderfully done and the characters were distinctive.

Many romantasy books have a similar plot so I don't hold that against the author at all.
I really enjoyed this book and it was a fun, spicy, romantasy read that I have been looking for. It is not the most original book ever, but it sure is entertaining.
I will also say that the "surprises" weren't surprising at all to me. In fact, when I read the last sentence of the book I said out loud "Duh, no shit", but that didn't take away from the enjoyment for me. I am definitely interested to see where the storyline goes and I'm looking forward to reading more about these characters.

This book starts off very strong and I was immediately drawn into the story. I do wish it was a bit deeper or possibly had a bit more world building? I"m not quite sure how to explain it other than it lacked a bit of feeling for me. Maybe I needed more show than tell. There is a scene in the beginning where a significant character dies and it's like, oh well...moving on. This did not deter me from reading but with a bit more detail/plot/worldbuilding this could have been a 5 star for me.
I thought the FMC, Calista was ambivalent to her surroundings and situations at times which made me want to scream at her. I also found that the MMC was a bit over the top, especially when he was constantly badgering Calista about sleeping with him and telling her "you know you want to". I thought both MC's were immature but I decided to put that aside and focus on the story and I did enjoy it. This was more of a 3.5 star read for me but I'm giving it 4 stars because I'm here for the vibes and it was a good time and I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
Overall this is a fun book with plenty of spice and an interesting story. It does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. If you are in the mood for a dark, fantasy romance with spice and dragons, definitely give this one a shot!
The audiobook narrators Michael Ferraiuolo and Ramona Master do a great job of narrating their parts.

There were a couple of little things that annoyed me about Blake but he fully admitted he was being a jerk so I forgive him. I do wish he had to do a tiny bit more groveling to make up for his outburst but I likely would forgive a super hot 6'3" billionaire with bedroom skills easily as well. I love fake dating tropes because you know they are definitely going to fall for one another but I still love it every time.

I don't believe I have ever read a book about a female blacksmith and while that is fun enough on it's own, we also get to learn much more about Eilean and her adventure into another world.
While I do like Eilean as a character, the standout character for me is definitely the aquatic undead horse with a bad attitude!
I would say this book leans more toward middle grade/young teen but it's also fun for adults. Perfect for someone who wants to dip their toes into an easy fantasy book.
The audiobook narration was so fun with added sound effects and different voices from narrator Rebecca Daltry.

Spencer is charismatic and handsome with a smoking body and when he tells you to "drown him" you listen! I really liked Spencer and Cami and how even though they both had their reservations with each other and their past, they overcame that and their relationship benefitted from the character growth. This book was a fun ride.
As stated, this is reminiscent of Lauren Asher's Dirty Air series so if you liked those books, you will most definitely like this one from K. Bromberg.
Carly Robins and Shane East narrate this one well but the standout for me was Shane because his voice is just perfect for Spencer's character.
