I really thought 6 was the last book, but maybe I wasn’t paying attention. But book 7 shall be the last???? IS IT??
The level of complication this book took the plot to is just... mind boggling. There’s A LOT that now needs to happen in book 7 just like there was a lot that needed to happen in book 6 but apparently the fucking stars decided to drag us down once more.
My predictions are as follows, in congruence with the prophecy:
Tory will not rule. The prophecy said one, I think it’ll be Darcy.
But Darcy is cursed with stars knows what and Orion will pay the price sooooo.... ????????????????????????? Does that mean he paid already because Clara died while the curse was being put on her OR has he not paid the price yet and WHY DIDNT THEY TELL US WHAT THE CURSE IS?
I don’t think Darius will actually die in a year.
I have no idea who the painted smile person is that they need to beware of. I think it’s either: Justin, Tyler, maaaaaybe Caleb? But I don’t think it’s someone in the inner circle. It’s a secondary character.
Whose blood will out? Is it Darius due to the sacrifice? Is it someone else like Gabriel or one of their closest friends?
Everything is up in the air and I have too much to say. Xavier becoming a more prominent character tells me something big will happen there. I could care less if Sofia and her vajazzle is a part of that or not. She annoys me.
My heart wishes the best for Darcy + Orion, Seth + Caleb, Max + Geraldine. Do I wish for the best for Tory and Darius??.... I wanna say yes but I feel like the authors wrote them this way in order for us not to be so heartbroken when they fail.
Again, I think Darcy’s been built up to place her on the throne. I do not believe any of the heirs will make it to the throne. And I’d hate to see them all turn on each other once Lionel falls.
I feel I truly appreciated these characters for what they’re worth, which makes me happy.

What really did me in was Victor’s grandmother’s letter.

And I loved this story. It was messy and ratchet and bloody. And it was beautiful in its own way.
I went back and forth a lot on whether I liked Bernie’s character, and this last book really sold it for me. She’s one of my favorites now. Spoiler ahead: when I thought she had actually died, my heart broke for those boys. THANKFULLY she pulled through. She saved them and herself. Like I said before, she’s ratchet as hell but I respect her.
I’ll gladly admit I was HERE for the Havoc orgies. I’m STILL wondering how she fit two dicks into her hole at once and maybe I’m just inexperienced but like is that possible? I really don’t want to turn to the internet to answer this question so by all means if you can answer that question, boldly drop a comment below. Would I have liked a little MM between Oscar and Callum, or even Callum and Hael, YES. I’m sad we didn’t get that though. Either way, thank you Stunich for packing on the orgies and not losing sight of why WE REALLY READ THESE BOOKS.

Edit: after reading some of the negative reviews I want to point out: yes I see the things that upset y’all in Stunich’s way of writing and I don’t disagree with some of the things that were pointed out. However, for me I chose to look past some of the things that annoyed me and just enjoyed the characters. Would I have liked the 8 epilogues to include a little substantial material, yes. But I got my HEA so that’s all I really needed....more

There’s a new gang in town and it’s not high school kids so I really hope all ends well. And by ends well I mean all five dudes are alive at the end because let’s face it:

Bernie is reaching the bottom of her list and she’s finally coming to terms with her demons. I’m glad she didn’t kill Kali. The character development has gone beautifully in a positive direction.
This series, scrappy as it may be, is turning out to be one of my favorite pieces from Stunich.
She’s also throwing out a lot of shade at all the things wrong in this world and I’m loving it. enlighten us all.

This book was like a bad quickie with some sorry-dicked dude in the bathroom of the mediocre club on a Friday night when all you wanted was Prince Charming and HEAPS of romance on a petal colored bed WITH four posters on an exotic getaway vacation.

Hyde: I seriously lost interest in this back and forth bullshit they had going on but yet.. he made it in to the harem EVEN THO LLOYD WAS THERE AND AVAILABLE THIS WHOLE TIME. If this side-plot was exciting for some, I’ll claim agree to disagree. It added zero thrill factor for me.

I just hope book 2 has more momentum than the second half of this one.

I also read that book a few year(s)(?) ago, when I was younger and more prone to emotions. The customer service industry is slowly hardening me. No tears left. Emotions? What’s that?

The plot: I’d like to state that I’ve witnessed bullying in a horrifying way in the past and this book reminded me that bitches ain’t shit, and all that matters is perseverance. Female bullies set back feminism by the decades! WE MUSN’T ALLOW THIS. So seeing Marcella begin to fight back was nice. The abuse to the students: plain nasty. Ew. Helen, Serena, go see a counselor. I fear y’all have some troubled pasts. But what these scenes brought to the book was needed. Compassion, empathy and sympathy, emotion. YES. YES. YES.
The editing: please redo this, please. I saw a comma next to a period and about shit myself. WE MUSN’T ALLOW THIS.
Overall, I am fucking wowed. Grab the 64 pack of crayons WITH the sharpener and COLOR. ME. SHOCKED.

What I loved: The mates- obviously. I am Team Ronak, through and through. It took like... 11 chapters for us to finally see them in this book, but all the same they weren’t thrown in the back burner. Thankfully. Lex + Belren- I’m actually SUUUUPER hoping (is that the correct phrase) that there’s a short book or SOMETHING written of Lex and Belren. The humor: always on point. This author is... probably batshit cray, but HILARIOUS.
Things I didn’t love: ELEVEN CHAPTERS TO BRING OUT THE MEN?? What kind of patience do you think I possess??! I’m also super upset we barely got to see any Emelle + Okot action. The prince and princess: assholes, both of them. The ending battle scene was a little mediocre for my taste but for the airy feel of this book I guess it makes sense. Some of the stupidity was really hard to get through, but I persevered.
There’s really not much to say. This is one of those feel-good RH novels where the MC is just hilarious and lighthearted. The men are fierce but also funny. The humor is phenom. If you’re looking for that, read this.
Overall a great read. 10/10 would recommend....more

What a fucking treat this was. Mind you I was amidst a raging battle with a fever when I read half this book. How fitting since some of it takes place in... wait for it..... Ferno. hahaha.
SO: Beginning to Middle- I'm still wary of what I read. (Again, fever). But I do remember a tiger. Was said tiger featured in the previous book? I think not so I was a bit taken aback. I then had to do some back-tracking. This wasn't my favorite part of the book but take that with a grain of salt.
We do indeed get some more Coal action. Coal is my favorite of this series. He wins Brooding Hot Bastard With A Magnificent Cock award.
Middle to End- I honestly felt this part was just a littttle rushed. The dedication taken to write this portion was not as intense as normal. The "battle scene" if you will was all sorts of... not all there.
But alas, the ending. Best part of the book. I had to get really creative picturing the entirety of {said five-some} but the author did well.
So there we have it. I enjoyed this series very much. STILL PISSED that it's not a 5-booker. But, whatever.
The author does mention this gang bang coming BACK as an episodes series. Do I think it's the best move... ehh.... it depends on how it's done. Some series are meant to end in their own perfection. I don't know what it was about this book that had me hooked but I was H O O K E D. Seriously. Looking back at it now I think this book wasn't very forward in the plot but all the same I couldn't for the life of me put it down. I was engaged.
With the ending, I am super excited to see where book 3 leads. So where is book 3???
With the slow-burn, PLEASE TURN THAT HEAT UP. OH MY GOD THIS IS GOING SNAIL PACE SLOW. Master Dorian: also has a giant dick (but where in comparison to Bel?) I thought Master Dorian was ugly? In the first book. I don't specifically recall him EVER being described as attractive. He's an asshole. BUT APPARENTLY, a very attractive one. Who the fuck knew. Now I have to rearrange his voice in my head during his dialogue so that it sounds manly and sexy and not like the emperor's skinny assistant from Mulan. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT'S BEEN.
Gwen: not much here. Her and Bel finally realize there is something there and the other lords witnessing that gave me life. Lord Otto and Zenon are def my favorites. Anyway, Gwen's story doesn't change too much here. I was honestly more interested in Kimber's publicized sex life.
BUT FINALLY! We see the two stories emerging when Gwen goes with Nial to the three weird sisters chillin at home in formal clothing.
Nial: I just about fucking broke during his last challenge. Pissed off that Gwen was so happy about it. I was so sad for him. So, so sad. He's the Lost God isn't he? How else would he be from S'Kir and NOT trapped in S'Kir with a colorful, emotional mountain. Yeah, I think I'm seeing this right.
Bel: HOT. DAMN. Newly crowned Man of My Dreams. (Please don't ruin this.)
Aside from that... I'd like the discuss a very important subject in this book. Hand. Cannons. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA did they mean guns??? I am now proposing we change the term gun to be hand cannon. All with me, say aye.
Again, what an odd series its been. The parallels between Gwen and Kimber are certainly there. And I do hope they meet in the next book. This series has been entirely unpredictable IMO. Lots of erections happening. Lots of cream involved (please someone change this term to something different). Lots of.. weird shit like eyeing paintings and demented toys.
Also a lot of misplaced characters. Like the cousins who are Gwen's bodyguards who get thrown in the back-burner immediately after being introduced as sounding hella important. Then again, the twins started out that way too.

My current habit is getting to the last book, reading a little bit, then skipping to the end out of sheer impatience and then going back and reading all of the action. SO THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I DID. Because I couldn't take it any longer.
Inwardly, I was crying. But there were no tears to show for it.
If you're a proud member of the happily-ever-after crew like myself, then read this series.
Book 4 was not as good as book 3, but I loved it all the same. The big finish occurs and we learn of the aftermath. It was all very sweet.

I'll admit, the first two books had me somewhat confused as to what all was going on and where this story was heading. BUT THEN.. this book happened. It is the best of the series so far, comparing it to book one and two.
The twists and turns are making sense. The characters are all relatable, and I love it. They each have their own personalities and meaning. It's nice to see the Outer Rings fam and Inner Rings fam coming together for Olina.
Jovan is indeed a hot alpha male.
So, I really liked this book. And I was very happy with the ending. Onto book four....more
