I did not like the heroine one bit. She wanted to come across as some kind of though chick, like Avalon, but to me she came across as whiny and needy. She sold herself to Braxton, in exchange for her brother's life, but then started crying about the hero not being nice to her and not caring about her.
He fucking kidnapped her and she expected him to play house or something ??... She was jealous of his friendship with Avalon?? What a weirdo.
I also expected much more from Braxton's character... What I got was a bit fat nothing. He was supposed to be some kind of monster, but after fucking her pretty roughly and with dubious consent, he went crying about how she was his and blah blah...
I like my heroines to be rough and strong and to take no shit from anyone, but Clover came across as an Avalon wanna be, and there can only be one... Sorry. I also couldn't deal with the whole schizo thing the heroine had going on. Very confusing and unrealistic.
Even better than the first book. Bit much at times considering we are talking about an 18 year old girl here.. but hey, I am reading to escape realityEven better than the first book. Jumping right into the next book because I am addicted now....more
Enjoyed this one more than the first book. Though I still find the sex scenes ridiculous and think this heroine should seek doctors advice, because ofEnjoyed this one more than the first book. Though I still find the sex scenes ridiculous and think this heroine should seek doctors advice, because of the amount of wetness she is dealing with.
That said, I liked the mystery and suspense and all the other characters. Read it in one go and jumped right into book 3.

Takeis the fifth book in the amazing "Deliver" series. Now let me start this review, by saying that this book can and should not be read as a stand-alone. If you want to really enjoy this series, you should go back and start reading with Deliver #1, and slowly...or fast...work your way down to this awesome read. Trust me...you won't be sorry.

This is definitely a dark romance series and each and every book has some major triggers... That also goes for this one. I am not gonna mention them all, but I did want to give you a little warning in case "dark" isn't really your thing.
Those of you who have already started this series, already know Kate from the previous books. She has been through hell and back and now she is still struggling to move on. Too bad that hell doesn't seem to be finished with her just yet and decides to screw with her once again...using Tiago Badell, to do so.

I really don't want to say anything that could possibly spoiler this book. It should be read blindly I think... So I am gonna keep my review short and simple.
Tiago has definitely become one of my favorite anti-heroes, though he still has to take a little bit of a back seat to Van Quiso....then again...I don't think anyone will ever be able to top him in my book !! That said... Tiago was all sorts of hot,dark...broody and disturbed. Just how I like my men :P
A nightmare in a designer suit

Kate tries her very best to hate every part of his being...but it isn't all that easy. Not everything is as black and white as she would like it to be. Could it be she is actually developing feelings for this monster...or is she suffering from a case of "Stockholm syndrome".
One smile, and he could be mistaken as human, A hot-as-fuck human with the capacity to shift and melt things inside her.
This story really pushes against some boundaries, it definitely pushed some of mine...but I gobbled it all up, like the good little girl that I am [image]
Kate really is my kind of heroine. She was so strong, but she also excepted her weaknesses...she was no push-over, but she knew not to push beyond the limits. I admired the fact, that even with everything she has been trough...she still had the ability to look further...to see beyond the outside.
She saw a heart worthy enough to take

I highly recommend this book and all the other in this series !
